Adam Hendrix: 2025 WSOP Main Event Finalist and High-Roller Pro
POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014
Adam Hendrix has built a tournament résumé that combines high-stakes success, versatility across no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha, and a breakthrough appearance on poker’s biggest stage. The Anchorage, Alaska native finished sixth in the 2025 World Series of Poker Main Event for $1.9 million, the largest live tournament cash of his career.
Hendrix has also won two WSOP Circuit rings and, by February 2025, had accumulated six PokerGO Tour titles. His results include victories in major high-roller events, deep World Poker Tour finishes and sustained success against elite tournament fields.
As of August 21, 2026, The Hendon Mob’s Alaska all-time money list credited Hendrix with $10,637,572 in live tournament earnings, placing him first among players associated with Alaska. Tournament earnings change as new results are recorded, so that figure should be treated as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent career total.
⠀
Who Is Adam Hendrix?
Adam Hendrix is an American professional poker player from Anchorage, Alaska. His tournament career has developed from smaller live events into regular appearances in WSOP, WPT and PokerGO Tour competition.
Hendrix attended Virginia Tech, where he studied economics and statistics. PokerGO Tour and World Poker Tour profiles have also documented his background in software engineering and programming before poker became his primary profession.
Although his roots remain closely connected to Alaska, Hendrix established Las Vegas as his professional poker base. The WPT listed him as a Las Vegas resident during his 2024 WPT Choctaw final-table run, and a 2025 WSOP interview with Hendrix was conducted from his Las Vegas home.
⠀
Adam Hendrix’s Poker Career
Hendrix began building a significant live tournament record during the late 2010s and steadily moved into larger buy-ins and stronger fields.
One of his early international breakthroughs came at the 2019 European Poker Tour festival in Barcelona, where he finished runner-up in a €1,100 no-limit hold’em event for a score worth approximately $384,000 at the time.
His results expanded well beyond traditional no-limit hold’em. Hendrix developed a strong pot-limit Omaha résumé while continuing to compete in high-stakes hold’em tournaments, an important part of the versatility that has defined his rise.
⠀
PokerGO Tour Success
The PokerGO Tour became one of the most important stages of Hendrix’s career.
In 2021, he won a $10,000 pot-limit Omaha event at the Poker Masters for $186,300. He continued producing victories and final tables across later PGT seasons, including titles in both no-limit hold’em and PLO.
Hendrix added another major win at the 2025 PokerGO Cup. He captured Event #3, a $10,100 no-limit hold’em tournament, for $316,050. The PokerGO Tour credited the victory as his sixth career PGT title.
That record demonstrates an ability to succeed repeatedly in high-buy-in tournaments where fields are generally smaller than major open events but concentrated with accomplished professionals.
⠀
Adam Hendrix’s WSOP Career
Hendrix has recorded numerous World Series of Poker cashes across no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha, but his defining WSOP result came in the 2025 Main Event.
Before that run, one of his most important WSOP performances was a fifth-place finish in the 2023 $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller. Hendrix earned $570,671, which was the largest live tournament score of his career at the time.
He later expanded his WSOP résumé through the Circuit.
First WSOP Circuit Ring
Hendrix won his first WSOP Circuit ring in March 2024 at Horseshoe Las Vegas. He defeated the field in the $3,300 High Roller and earned $73,579.
The official WSOP results list Hendrix as the winner of the event.
Second WSOP Circuit Ring
Hendrix added a second Circuit victory later in 2024 during an online WSOP Circuit series. He won a $320 no-limit hold’em deepstack event in October for $25,076.
The result gave Hendrix two WSOP Circuit rings while extending his record across both live and online Circuit competition. The official WSOP event results document the victory.
As of September 15, 2026, Hendrix has not won a WSOP bracelet.
⠀
2025 WSOP Main Event Final Table
Hendrix reached the most visible final table of his career in the 2025 WSOP Main Event.
The tournament attracted 9,735 entries and generated a prize pool of more than $90.5 million. Hendrix advanced to the final six before being eliminated in sixth place, earning $1.9 million.
The finish established a new career-best live cash and pushed his lifetime tournament earnings well beyond the $10 million mark. The official 2025 WSOP Main Event results record Hendrix in sixth place.
Michael Mizrachi ultimately won the tournament for $10 million. Hendrix’s deep run therefore connected one of the strongest performances of his career with the Main Event victory of Michael Mizrachi.
For Hendrix, the significance extended beyond the payout. He had already established himself in high-roller circles, but a WSOP Main Event final table exposed his game to a much broader poker audience.
⠀
WPT Results and Major Tournament Wins
Hendrix has also been a regular presence on the World Poker Tour.
The official WPT player database lists zero Main Tour victories. His best WPT Main Tour finish came at the 2024 WPT Choctaw Championship, where he placed third for $175,000.
He also reached the final table of the 2022 WPT Legends of Poker, finishing sixth for $119,000.
Hendrix scored one of his largest non-WSOP payouts during the 2024 WPT World Championship festival at Wynn Las Vegas. He won a $3,000 no-limit hold’em side event for $629,000. That result was a WPT festival victory, but it should not be confused with a WPT Main Tour title.
In October 2025, Hendrix returned to a WPT Main Tour field at the Bay 101 Shooting Star Championship and finished 19th for $33,500.

Adam Hendrix’s Playing Style and Tournament Strengths
Hendrix’s tournament record is notable for its range rather than specialization in a single format.
No-limit hold’em accounts for many of his largest scores, including his 2025 Main Event finish and multiple high-roller victories. At the same time, his Poker Masters title and deep WSOP performances in pot-limit Omaha demonstrate significant experience outside hold’em.
His strongest results have also come across very different tournament environments. Hendrix has succeeded in large-field championship events, concentrated high-roller fields, short-handed tournaments and PLO events.
That versatility is more useful for understanding his career than attaching a subjective label such as “aggressive” or “tight.” His results demonstrate that he has been able to adjust successfully across structures, buy-ins and poker variants.
⠀
Poker Coaching and Influence
Hendrix’s involvement in poker has extended beyond tournament results.
In an April 2025 interview, the WSOP described Hendrix as a professional poker player and coach for PokerCoaching.com. His work as a coach gave him an educational role within the game in addition to his tournament career.
His 2025 WSOP Main Event run also substantially increased his visibility. High-roller followers were already familiar with his PokerGO Tour record, but reaching the final six of the Main Event introduced Hendrix to the much larger audience that follows poker’s annual world championship.
⠀
Adam Hendrix’s Recent Results and Current Status
Hendrix remained active on the live tournament circuit throughout 2026.
At the 2026 U.S. Poker Open, he finished runner-up to Cherish Andrews in Event #3 and earned $115,468.
He followed that result with multiple cashes during the 2026 World Series of Poker. His deepest finish late in the series came in Event #99, the $5,000 Eight-Handed No-Limit Hold’em tournament, where he placed 10th for $42,524. The official WSOP results show an 884-entry field.
Those results confirm that Hendrix remained an active tournament professional after his 2025 Main Event breakthrough rather than treating the final-table appearance as an isolated career peak.
With more than $10 million in live earnings, multiple high-roller titles, two Circuit rings and a WSOP Main Event final table, Hendrix has developed a résumé that reaches across several major areas of modern tournament poker. A WSOP bracelet and WPT Main Tour championship remain notable major titles he has yet to capture as of September 2026.
