Alan Keating: High-Stakes Cash Game Star and Livestream Standout
POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014
Alan Keating has become one of the most recognizable high-stakes cash-game players of the livestream poker era. Rather than building his reputation through World Series of Poker bracelets or major tournament championships, the American high roller has become known for playing enormous no-limit hold’em cash games, entering pots at a high frequency and competing for seven-figure sums in front of online audiences.
His appearances on Hustler Casino Live and PokerGO’s High Stakes Poker have produced several of the largest televised and livestreamed pots of the 2020s. Keating has experienced both sides of high-variance poker in public, recording seven-figure losses as well as multimillion-dollar winning sessions and some of the most memorable hands in modern cash-game broadcasts.
Tournament databases tell a very different story. As of September 16, 2026, the Hendon Mob database lists Keating with $241,001 in recorded live tournament earnings and a career-best tournament cash of $58,570. The World Series of Poker lists him with zero bracelets and zero Circuit rings. His public poker identity has instead become closely tied to nosebleed-stakes cash games.
⠀
Who Is Alan Keating?
Alan Keating is an American poker player associated with Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, according to Hendon Mob. His recorded tournament history dates to at least 2007, but his wider recognition in poker came years later through high-stakes cash games and livestreamed poker.
Keating’s tournament résumé is relatively modest compared with the sums regularly at risk when he appears in cash games. That distinction is important when evaluating his career. Tournament winnings track only recorded tournament cashes and do not measure private cash-game results, livestream profits or losses, or other ring-game activity.
By the early 2020s, Keating had become a recurring player in some of the largest publicly broadcast no-limit hold’em games in the United States. Hustler Casino Live in particular helped introduce him to a much larger poker audience.

Alan Keating’s Tournament Poker Record
Keating has recorded tournament results dating back nearly two decades, including multiple cashes in the WSOP Main Event.
His largest tournament score listed by Hendon Mob came in the 2007 WSOP Main Event. Keating finished 102nd and earned $58,570. He returned to cash the Main Event again in later years, including a 265th-place finish for $41,967 in 2010, 483rd place for $23,876 in 2011 and 537th place for $21,495 in 2013.
Other recorded results include a 55th-place finish in the 2015 World Poker Tour Five Diamond World Poker Classic Main Event for $21,074.
As of September 16, 2026:
Hendon Mob lists Alan Keating with $241,001 in live tournament earnings.
His largest recorded live tournament cash is $58,570.
WSOP's All Brands player-database view lists Keating with 14 cashes and $228,162 in recorded earnings.
The WSOP lists him with zero bracelets.
The WSOP lists him with zero Circuit rings.
The WSOP site's All Brands view includes results from other tours, including Keating's 2015 WPT Five Diamond cash, and is not a WSOP-only earnings total. Its coverage differs from Hendon Mob's live tournament database. These figures can change when databases add or update results.
Keating’s tournament statistics also illustrate why tournament earnings alone provide an incomplete picture of his poker career. Individual cash-game pots involving Keating have been worth many times his entire recorded tournament earnings.

Rise to Prominence on Hustler Casino Live
Keating became a familiar face to poker viewers through Hustler Casino Live, where his willingness to play unusually large pots and wide ranges made him well suited to livestreamed high-stakes cash games.
One of his earliest widely discussed appearances came in May 2022 during a game featuring poker professionals and major internet personalities. Keating lost approximately $1.1 million during the session, an unusually large public loss even by high-stakes cash-game standards.
His results on the show did not remain one-sided.
In December 2022, Keating won a pot of roughly $1.2 million against a player known as Handz. At the time, PokerNews reported it as the largest pot in U.S. livestream poker history. Keating made a king-high flush on the river and called an all-in bluff to collect the seven-figure pot.
That hand helped establish a pattern that would define his public poker career: enormous swings, aggressive action and a willingness to make decisions for amounts rarely seen outside private high-stakes games.
⠀
Keating’s $2.4 Million Hustler Casino Live Pot
Keating produced another landmark moment during Hustler Casino Live’s 2024 Million Dollar Game.
On May 31, 2024, he played a $2,437,000 pot against Rahul. Keating held 10-9 of spades and reached the river after calling bets with a straight and flush draw. The river completed his straight.
After Rahul bet $200,000, Keating check-raised all in to approximately $1 million. Rahul eventually called with two pair, sending the $2.437 million pot to Keating.
At the time, the hand ranked as the second-largest pot in Hustler Casino Live history behind the $3.1 million pot Tom Dwan had won against Wesley Fei during the 2023 Million Dollar Game.
Keating finished his two appearances in the 2024 Million Dollar Game with a combined profit of approximately $1.94 million, according to results later published by PokerNews.
⠀
Record Pot on High Stakes Poker
Keating’s cash-game résumé expanded beyond Hustler Casino Live through his appearances on PokerGO’s High Stakes Poker.
During Season 14 in 2025, Keating and Peter Wang played a $1,412,500 pot that became the largest pot in High Stakes Poker history at the time.
Keating held pocket kings and flopped top set against Wang’s ace-high flush draw. Wang improved to a pair of aces on the turn and moved all in. Keating called, and the players ran the river twice.
Neither river completed Wang’s flush, allowing Keating to collect the entire $1.4125 million pot.
The result gave Keating another place in the record book of a major poker broadcast and reinforced the unusual scale of the games in which he regularly competes.
⠀
Million Dollar Game Success
Keating’s relationship with Hustler Casino Live’s Million Dollar Game became especially significant during the middle of the decade.
Before playing the 2026 edition at the WSOP, PokerNews reported that Keating had recorded five consecutive winning Million Dollar Game sessions with approximately $3.86 million in combined profit over that run.
The streak included a highly successful 2025 edition. Keating made a major hero call against Nik Airball in a pot worth approximately $1.6 million and continued adding to his reputation as a player comfortable making extremely expensive river decisions.
In December 2025, Keating was the biggest winner in Hustler Casino Live’s Million Dollar Marathon. Poker.org reported that he finished the session ahead $1,699,500. One of the defining hands was a three-way pot worth more than $2 million involving Keating, Steve Swedlow and Martin Kabrhel.
⠀
Alan Keating’s 2026 High-Stakes Results
Keating remained active in major streamed cash games during 2026.
In May, he participated in Hustler Casino Live’s Mega Cash Mania and won a pot exceeding $1 million after making four of a kind. Later that month, he appeared in a major livestream at The Lodge Card Club in Texas alongside players including Doug Polk and Garrett Adelstein.
Keating finished that Lodge session with a profit of $1,041,300, according to PokerNews, making him the biggest winner in the game.
His high-stakes schedule continued at the 2026 WSOP, where Hustler Casino Live brought its cash-game production to Las Vegas.
During the Million Dollar Game on June 12, Keating became involved in a $2,801,000 pot against Kabrhel. Keating held king-queen suited against Kabrhel’s ace-king after the money went in preflop. The players agreed to run the board three times.
Keating won one board while Kabrhel won two, giving Kabrhel two-thirds of the pot. PokerNews reported the hand as the second-largest pot in U.S. ring-game livestream history at the time.
The hand also demonstrated an important part of Keating’s public record. His reputation does not rest solely on spectacular wins. He routinely participates in games where seven-figure swings can move in either direction.
⠀
Alan Keating’s Playing Style
Keating is widely associated with a loose-aggressive cash-game style.
That description is supported by his televised and livestreamed play rather than being based simply on reputation. He frequently enters a high percentage of pots, plays speculative starting hands and is willing to apply pressure with large bets and raises.
PokerNews has described Keating as unpredictable and highlighted both his willingness to make six-figure bluffs and his ability to make difficult hero calls. During Hustler Casino Live sessions, his voluntary-put-money-in-pot percentage has at times been exceptionally high for games carrying such large financial stakes.
That approach has an obvious effect on the games around him. Opponents cannot automatically interpret a large Keating bet as a premium holding because his range can contain strong hands, draws and bluffs.
His style also creates variance. The same willingness to contest large pots that has produced multimillion-dollar wins has contributed to significant losing sessions.
⠀
Why Alan Keating Matters in Modern Poker
Keating’s significance comes primarily from cash-game poker and the growth of livestreamed high-stakes entertainment.
For much of poker history, the largest private cash games took place away from cameras. Modern livestreams have given viewers access to stakes that previously would have been seen only by the players in the game.
Keating has become one of the recurring figures in that transition.
His biggest televised hands have involved individual pots of $1 million, $2 million and more, and his appearances have placed him alongside established professionals, wealthy recreational players and other prominent personalities from the modern high-stakes cash-game scene.
His career therefore differs from players whose reputations can be summarized through bracelets, trophies and tournament earnings. With Keating, the most important public record is found in streamed cash games.
⠀

No. As of September 16, 2026, the WSOP lists Alan Keating with zero World Series of Poker bracelets.
Keating has recorded multiple WSOP cashes, including several Main Event finishes, but he has not won a bracelet event.
⠀
Does Alan Keating Have a WSOP Circuit Ring?
No. As of September 16, 2026, the WSOP lists Keating with zero WSOP Circuit rings.
His best-known poker accomplishments have come in high-stakes cash games rather than the WSOP Circuit.
⠀
Alan Keating’s Current Status
As of September 2026, Keating remains associated with the highest levels of publicly streamed no-limit hold’em cash games.
His 2026 appearances included seven-figure pots on Hustler Casino Live, a seven-figure winning session at The Lodge and participation in the Million Dollar Game staged during the WSOP in Las Vegas.
Poker.org also reported on September 16, 2026, that Keating had been expected to participate in Hustler Casino Live’s All Star Game but was unable to play on its second day. No reason should be inferred from that absence without confirmed information.
Keating’s tournament record remains secondary to his cash-game activity. His continued presence in major livestream lineups, combined with the size of the pots he plays, keeps him among the most visible high-stakes cash-game personalities of the current era.
