Who Is Barry Greenstein?
Barry Greenstein was born in Chicago in 1954 and developed an interest in card games at an early age. Before becoming a full-time poker professional, he studied computer science at the University of Illinois and worked in the technology industry.
According to the World Series of Poker, Greenstein worked for software company Symantec during the 1980s and helped develop the word-processing component of the company's Q&A software. He left Symantec in 1991 to pursue poker professionally.

Barry Greenstein's WSOP Bracelets
Greenstein has won three WSOP bracelets, with each victory coming in a different poker discipline.
His first bracelet arrived at the 2004 World Series of Poker in the $5,000 No-Limit Deuce-to-Seven Draw event. Greenstein earned $296,200 for the victory.
