Brad Owen: Poker Vlogger, Cash Game Pro and Tournament Competitor
POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014
Brad Owen has built one of poker’s most recognizable careers by combining professional cash-game play with tournament competition and a highly successful poker vlog. The Northern California native became a full-time player after working as an accountant, developed his reputation in Las Vegas cash games, and later expanded into major World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour events. He is also a co-owner of The Lodge Card Club in Texas.
As of September 2026, Hendon Mob lists Owen with more than $1.28 million in live tournament earnings and a career-best live cash of $152,266. Those figures represent recorded live tournament results and can change as new results are added. Owen has not won a WSOP bracelet or WSOP Circuit ring, but his tournament résumé includes a WPT final table, several six-figure scores and cashes across both no-limit hold’em and mixed-game events.
⠀
Who Is Brad Owen?
Bradley Owen, better known in poker as Brad Owen, is an American professional poker player, content creator and card-room co-owner. Hendon Mob lists Santa Rosa, California, as his birthplace and Las Vegas, Nevada, as his residence.
Owen first became widely known through cash games rather than tournament poker. After leaving an accounting career to pursue poker full time, he played lower-stakes Las Vegas games before gradually moving into larger cash games and televised or livestreamed lineups.
His reach grew significantly through his YouTube poker vlog, where he documented real sessions, reviewed major hands and gave viewers an unusually transparent look at the day-to-day swings of playing poker professionally. That combination of poker analysis and accessible storytelling helped make him one of the most visible poker content creators of his generation.
⠀
Brad Owen’s Poker Career
Owen’s recorded live tournament results date back to 2016, but cash games were the foundation of his career. PokerNews has documented his progression from games such as $1/$3 no-limit hold’em into substantially larger stakes, including appearances in high-stakes livestreamed cash games.
Tournament poker eventually became a larger part of his schedule. Owen began appearing more frequently in WSOP, WPT and other major festivals, building a résumé that includes deep runs in championship events and final-table appearances against accomplished professional fields.
His tournament career accelerated notably in the early 2020s. At the 2022 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, Owen finished 35th for $99,600. The following year produced several of his largest recorded results.
⠀
Major Tournament Results
Owen reached his first WPT Main Tour final table at the 2023 WPT Gardens Poker Championship. He entered the six-player final table as one of the best-known players remaining and ultimately finished fourth for $125,000.
Later in 2023, he recorded two more six-figure scores during the WPT World Championship festival at Wynn Las Vegas. Owen finished third in a $10,500 eight-max event for $107,800 and then placed seventh in the $50,000 WPT Alpha8 for $152,266. Hendon Mob lists the Alpha8 result as the largest live tournament cash of his career as of September 2026.
His WPT résumé also includes a third-place finish in the 2024 WPT Prime Montreal Main Event for $64,328. According to the World Poker Tour, Owen has accumulated eight Main Tour cashes and one Main Tour final table, although he has not won a WPT Main Tour title.
Owen added tournament victories outside the WPT Main Tour as well. In December 2024, he won a $2,200 H.O.R.S.E. event during the WPT World Championship festival for $60,530. In February 2025, he won a $5,000 no-limit hold’em event at The Lodge Card Club for $59,634.
⠀
WSOP Record
Owen remains without a World Series of Poker bracelet or WSOP Circuit ring as of September 2026.
The WSOP lists Owen with dozens of series cashes and more than $800,000 in WSOP-tracked earnings across its database. His WSOP results include deep runs in both no-limit hold’em and mixed-game tournaments.
At the 2025 WSOP Main Event, Owen finished 373rd for $40,000.
His 2026 World Series of Poker was especially notable for the variety of formats in which he cashed. His results included:
Eighth place in the $2,500 Mixed Big Bet event for $15,789
32nd place in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship for $21,162
49th place in the $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball event for $5,260
54th place in the $5,000 Eight-Handed No-Limit Hold’em event for $14,267
The mixed-game results reflect an expansion beyond the no-limit hold’em cash games that defined the earlier part of his career.
⠀
Live Tournament Earnings
Hendon Mob lists Owen with $1,286,428 in live tournament earnings as of September 2026, with 102 recorded results and a best live cash of $152,266.
Tournament databases do not measure a player’s complete poker profit or overall financial success. They generally track qualifying tournament cashes and do not include most private or public cash-game results, sponsorship income, content revenue, business income or tournament buy-ins and expenses.
That distinction is particularly important for Owen because cash games and poker media have been central parts of his career.
⠀
Cash Games and Playing Style
Owen built his professional reputation primarily as a no-limit hold’em cash-game player. His vlog documented years of live sessions in Las Vegas, moving from lower stakes into larger games as his experience and bankroll developed.
His public content has often focused on the decision-making process behind individual hands rather than simply showing wins and losses. By reviewing bet sizing, opponent tendencies, range considerations and his own mistakes, Owen helped popularize a form of poker content that blended entertainment with practical hand analysis.
In recent years, he has also invested significant time in mixed games. His 2026 tournament schedule included Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo, mixed big-bet formats, triple draw and T.O.R.S.E., along with traditional no-limit hold’em.
That diversification has made his tournament record broader than his early reputation as a hold’em cash-game specialist might suggest.
⠀
Poker Vlogging and YouTube
Owen’s influence on poker extends well beyond tournament results.
He became one of the leading figures in the poker-vlogging boom that brought live cash games to a large online audience. Instead of presenting poker only through televised final tables, Owen’s videos followed ordinary casino sessions, bankroll swings, travel and individual hand decisions from the player’s perspective.
By September 2026, third-party channel tracking showed his YouTube audience at roughly 800,000 subscribers. Subscriber figures change over time, but the size of the audience illustrates how significant content creation has become to Owen’s place in the poker industry.
His work also helped develop the modern poker “Meet-Up Game” format alongside fellow player and content creator Andrew Neeme. These events give followers an opportunity to play in organized cash games with the creators they watch online and have since become a familiar promotional format at poker rooms and tournament stops.
⠀
The Lodge Card Club
Owen is also part of the ownership group behind The Lodge Card Club in Round Rock, Texas.
In January 2022, Owen, Andrew Neeme and Doug Polk joined the ownership group of the room. The Lodge subsequently became a major destination for Texas poker, hosting cash games, livestreams and tournament festivals.
The ownership role connects several parts of Owen’s poker career: professional play, content creation, livestream poker, community events and the business side of operating a card room.
The Lodge’s own player biography continues to identify Owen as one of its co-owners.
⠀
Brad Owen and the World Poker Tour
Owen’s relationship with the World Poker Tour has included tournament appearances, promotional work and high-profile final-table runs.
His strongest WPT Main Tour result came at the 2023 Gardens Poker Championship, where he finished fourth for $125,000. He followed that with multiple significant results at Wynn Las Vegas later that year, including his career-best $152,266 score in the WPT Alpha8.
WPT records list Owen with $355,150 in Main Tour earnings, eight Main Tour cashes and one final table as of September 2026. He has not won a WPT Main Tour championship.
His 2024 third-place finish in WPT Prime Montreal added another $64,328 to his WPT-related tournament record.
⠀
Recent Poker Results
Owen remained active on the live tournament circuit in 2026.
Before the WSOP, he won a $600 limit 2-7 triple draw tournament during the Chainsaw Mixed Series of Poker in Las Vegas for $7,061 and finished third in a $1,100 T.O.R.S.E. event for $5,911.
He then recorded seven cashes during the 2026 World Series of Poker, including his eighth-place finish in the Mixed Big Bet event and multiple results in Omaha hi-lo and draw formats.
His most recent recorded Hendon Mob result as of September 2026 was a 54th-place finish in the $5,000 eight-handed no-limit hold’em bracelet event at the 2026 WSOP for $14,267.
⠀
Brad Owen’s Impact on Poker
Owen’s significance in poker comes from a combination of playing results and media influence.
He helped make poker vlogging a major part of modern poker culture by showing viewers the routine realities of live cash games rather than limiting coverage to championship events. His videos have introduced a large audience to casino poker, bankroll swings, hand analysis and the lifestyle surrounding professional play.
The Meet-Up Game concept extended that relationship from online content into physical poker rooms, allowing viewers to participate directly in games with the creators they followed.
His later expansion into tournament poker, mixed games and card-room ownership has broadened his role from poker vlogger to a participant in several different parts of the industry.
⠀
Where Brad Owen’s Career Stands
As of September 2026, Owen remains active as a poker player and content creator while continuing his involvement with The Lodge Card Club.
His tournament résumé now includes more than $1.28 million in Hendon Mob-listed live earnings, multiple six-figure cashes, a WPT Main Tour final table and significant results in both hold’em and mixed games.
A major WSOP bracelet or WPT Main Tour championship remains absent from his record, but tournament titles alone do not explain his importance to modern poker. Owen’s larger influence has come from helping turn poker vlogging into a substantial media category while maintaining an active career at the tables.
