POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014

Bryce Yockey has built one of the strongest tournament résumés among American pot-limit Omaha and mixed-game specialists, winning three World Series of Poker bracelets while repeatedly contending in some of poker's most demanding championship events.

His accomplishments span multiple forms of poker. Yockey won his first bracelet in Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo in 2017, added a Pot-Limit Omaha title in 2024 and expanded his collection with the $10,000 Dealer's Choice Championship in 2026. He also finished runner-up to Daniel Negreanu in the 2024 $50,000 Poker Players Championship, producing the largest live tournament cash of his career.

As of September 8, 2026, PokerNews' player database, using data supplied by The Hendon Mob, lists Yockey with more than $8.5 million in live tournament earnings. The official WSOP database credits him with three bracelets and no WSOP Circuit rings.

⠀

Who Is Bryce Yockey?

Bryce Yockey is an American professional poker player best known for his success in pot-limit Omaha and mixed-game tournaments.

His results show considerable range beyond a single specialty. Yockey has recorded deep finishes in Omaha variants, Dealer's Choice, H.O.R.S.E., seven-card stud games, lowball and no-limit hold'em while regularly entering high-buy-in championship events.

The Hendon Mob lists Yockey as a United States player associated with Torrance, California. His tournament record stretches across well over a decade of live competition and includes success at the World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour events and PokerGO Tour festivals.

Bryce Yockey's WSOP Career

The World Series of Poker has provided many of the defining moments of Yockey's career.

His official WSOP profile lists three bracelets, and each victory came in a format that required skills beyond standard no-limit hold'em.

First WSOP Bracelet in 2017

Yockey captured his first bracelet in the 2017 WSOP $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship.

The tournament attracted 207 entries. Yockey defeated Jeremy Joseph heads-up to earn $511,147 and become the champion of the first $10,000 PLO Hi-Lo Championship held at the WSOP.

The victory established Yockey as a championship-level Omaha player and gave him his first major piece of WSOP hardware.

Second Bracelet in 2024

Seven years later, Yockey returned to the winner's circle in Event #8 of the 2024 WSOP, the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament.

He topped a field of 733 entries and defeated Farid Jattin heads-up, earning $606,654. At the time, the payout represented the largest recorded tournament cash of Yockey's career.

That personal record lasted less than a month.

Runner-Up in the 2024 Poker Players Championship

Later during the same WSOP, Yockey reached the final table of the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, one of the series' premier mixed-game events.

The tournament drew 89 entries and featured a final table that included Negreanu, Chris Brewer, Jeremy Ausmus and Phil Ivey.

Yockey advanced to heads-up play against Negreanu before finishing second for $768,467. The result became his largest recorded live tournament cash.

The performance also strengthened Yockey's standing as more than an Omaha specialist. The Poker Players Championship requires competitors to navigate a rotation of different poker variants over a long, high-buy-in tournament.

Third Bracelet in the 2026 Dealer's Choice Championship

Yockey added his third bracelet at the 2026 WSOP by winning Event #27, the $10,000 Dealer's Choice Championship.

He defeated a record field of 163 entries and earned $371,664 from a $1,515,900 prize pool. Ryan Miller finished second, while Jake Schwartz, Chad Eveslage, Nick Schulman and Jeremy Ausmus also reached the final table.

Dealer's Choice is particularly suited to players with broad mixed-game ability because competitors select from a large menu of poker variants rather than playing one game throughout the tournament.

For Yockey, the victory added a mixed-game championship to bracelet wins already earned in two Omaha formats.

Yockey's tournament career is defined by both victories and repeated success in elite mixed-game competition.

Success in the Poker Players Championship

Yockey's history in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship provides some of the clearest evidence of his mixed-game credentials.

Before his runner-up finish in 2024, he reached the final table of the event in 2019. Yockey ultimately finished fourth for $325,989.

That run became particularly memorable because of a highly unusual 2-7 Triple Draw hand against Josh Arieh. Yockey stood pat with the second-best possible hand while Arieh drew multiple times and ultimately completed a wheel, the best possible 2-7 low.

The hand became one of the most widely discussed moments of that year's WSOP, but Yockey's fourth-place finish was significant beyond the unusual elimination. Reaching two Poker Players Championship final tables within five years, including a runner-up result, demonstrated sustained success against elite mixed-game fields.

⠀

Pot-Limit Omaha and Mixed-Game Success

Pot-limit Omaha has been a central part of Yockey's tournament career.

Two of his three bracelets came in Omaha formats, and his PokerGO Tour record includes numerous cashes and victories in PLO events. In 2025, he won multiple PokerGO Tour pot-limit Omaha tournaments, including a $15,100 PGT PLO Series II event for $290,000 and another $10,100 PLO event during the same series for $237,600.

His results also extend into games such as H.O.R.S.E., stud hi-lo, lowball and Dealer's Choice.

That versatility is important when evaluating Yockey's career. Rather than accumulating his résumé almost entirely through no-limit hold'em, he has repeatedly performed in formats that require competitors to move between different betting structures, hand-ranking systems and strategic disciplines.

⠀

Bryce Yockey's Live Tournament Earnings

Poker earnings totals change whenever a player records another qualifying result, and different databases can update at different times.

As of September 8, 2026, PokerNews' Bryce Yockey player page, using statistics provided by The Hendon Mob, lists more than $8.5 million in total live tournament earnings.

His largest recorded individual cash is the $768,467 he earned for finishing second to Daniel Negreanu in the 2024 WSOP $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

The official WSOP database separately tracks his results within WSOP-branded competition and should not be confused with his complete live tournament earnings across all tours.

⠀

World Poker Tour Results

Yockey has accumulated substantial WPT tournament winnings without winning a WPT Main Tour title.

The World Poker Tour's official player database lists seven Main Tour cashes, no wins and no final tables, along with additional earnings from a WPT special event.

His deepest major WPT championship run came at the 2022 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, where he collected $338,500 for a deep finish.

His career has therefore been much more closely associated with the WSOP, mixed games and pot-limit Omaha than with WPT championship titles.

⠀

Bryce Yockey's Playing Reputation

Yockey's tournament record supports his reputation as an Omaha and mixed-game specialist.

That description is based on the formats in which he has repeatedly achieved major results rather than a subjective characterization of his table style. Bracelet victories in PLO Hi-Lo, PLO and Dealer's Choice, combined with two final tables in the Poker Players Championship, demonstrate success across several technically different games.

His continued participation in high-buy-in PLO and mixed-game tournaments also places him regularly against many of the strongest specialists in those disciplines.

⠀

Bryce Yockey in 2025 and 2026

Yockey remained highly active leading into his third bracelet victory.

During 2025, he produced several notable PokerGO Tour results, particularly in pot-limit Omaha. His PGT record includes multiple PLO victories during the year as well as a sixth-place finish for $225,000 in the $100,500 Super High Roller Bowl Pot-Limit Omaha.

He carried that activity into 2026.

After cashing in a PokerGO Tour PLO event at The Venetian in March, Yockey recorded a busy World Series of Poker that included his Dealer's Choice victory and cashes across several different variants.

His 2026 WSOP results included cashes in no-limit 2-7 lowball, mixed Omaha, PLO Hi-Lo, Big O, high-roller PLO, stud hi-lo, Pick Your PLO, T.O.R.S.E., six-handed no-limit hold'em and H.O.R.S.E.

Among his later results of the series was a 21st-place finish in the $25,000 H.O.R.S.E. High Roller in July for $50,340.

Those results show that Yockey remained an active tournament professional through the 2026 WSOP rather than simply returning for selected bracelet events.

⠀

Why Bryce Yockey Matters in Poker

Yockey's significance comes from the combination of longevity, versatility and championship results.

Three bracelets in three different tournament formats demonstrate that his success is not confined to one variation of poker. His performances in the Poker Players Championship add another measure because that tournament is designed to test proficiency across multiple disciplines.

His résumé also reflects the importance of mixed games within professional tournament poker. While no-limit hold'em attracts much of the public attention, events such as Dealer's Choice and the Poker Players Championship reward players capable of adapting across many forms of the game.

Yockey has established his career primarily in that environment, while still recording results in no-limit hold'em and other formats.
