Daniel Zack has built one of the strongest modern World Series of Poker records among American mixed-game professionals. The Princeton, New Jersey player is a four-time WSOP bracelet winner, the 2022 WSOP Player of the Year and an accomplished tournament player whose results span mixed games, Pot-Limit Omaha and No-Limit Hold'em.

As of September 2026, Hendon Mob lists Zack with $4,861,822 in live tournament earnings and a career-best live cash of $488,095. The World Series of Poker lists four bracelets and one WSOP Circuit ring on his record.

⠀

Who Is Daniel Zack?

Daniel Zack is an American poker player from Princeton, New Jersey, best known for his success across a wide range of poker variants.

His tournament record reflects unusual versatility. Zack's bracelet victories have come in mixed triple draw, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo and Pot-Limit Omaha, while his other deep runs include high-stakes No-Limit Hold'em and multi-game tournaments.

Zack's recorded tournament success dates back more than a decade. In February 2014, he won a WSOP Circuit No-Limit Hold'em event at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, earning the first Circuit ring listed on his WSOP record. Later that year, he finished fourth in the $1,500 10-Game Mix at the World Series of Poker.

Those early results helped establish a career that would increasingly become associated with mixed-game competition.

Daniel Zack's WSOP Bracelet Career

Zack won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in 2019 in the $2,500 Limit Mixed Triple Draw event. He defeated a field of 296 entries and earned $160,447.

That victory was particularly fitting for a player whose career would become closely connected to mixed-game poker. Rather than building his WSOP résumé around one format, Zack continued producing results across several disciplines.

His biggest breakthrough came during the 2022 World Series of Poker.

Zack captured his second career bracelet in the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, earning $440,757 after an extended heads-up match.

Only weeks later, he won the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship for $324,174. The victory gave Zack his third career bracelet and his second championship-event title of the same series.

Those two wins became the foundation of a summer that ended with Zack being named the 2022 WSOP Player of the Year.

⠀

2022 WSOP Player of the Year

Daniel Zack's 2022 season stands as one of the defining periods of his career.

Winning two bracelets was the centerpiece, but his Player of the Year campaign also depended on consistent tournament results throughout the series. His performance across multiple formats demonstrated the versatility that has become central to his reputation.

The World Series of Poker officially lists Zack as the 2022 WSOP Player of the Year.

His 2022 summer also produced the largest live tournament cash of his career. Zack finished eighth in the $250,000 No-Limit Hold'em Super High Roller for $488,095.

That result is notable because it came outside the mixed-game formats most closely associated with his strongest tournament accomplishments.

Fourth WSOP Bracelet in 2025

Zack added another major achievement at the 2025 World Series of Poker when he won the $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed event.

The tournament drew 1,088 entries and generated a prize pool of more than $2.9 million. Zack defeated Zachary Schwartz heads-up to earn $471,170 and his fourth WSOP bracelet.

The victory expanded the range of games in which Zack has won WSOP gold.

His bracelet victories now include:

• 2019 $2,500 Limit Mixed Triple Draw — $160,447

• 2022 $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship — $440,757

• 2022 $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship — $324,174

• 2025 $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed — $471,170

The 2025 win was also one of the largest scores of his career, trailing only his $488,095 cash from the 2022 WSOP $250,000 Super High Roller.

⠀

Mixed-Game Strength and Playing Reputation

Zack's tournament record supports his reputation as a highly accomplished mixed-game player.

His first three WSOP bracelets came in games requiring proficiency beyond standard No-Limit Hold'em, including draw poker, Omaha Hi-Lo and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo. He has also recorded deep finishes in H.O.R.S.E., Dealer's Choice, Badugi and multi-game events.

That breadth is important when evaluating Zack's career. Mixed-game tournaments require players to adjust repeatedly as the game changes, often moving between substantially different betting structures and strategic concepts.

Zack has demonstrated that adaptability repeatedly at the WSOP.

His 2025 Pot-Limit Omaha victory added another discipline to his bracelet résumé. After that win, Zack acknowledged to PokerNews that Pot-Limit Omaha was not the game he considered his strongest, making the result another example of his ability to compete successfully outside his preferred formats.

His largest recorded live cash remains the $488,095 he earned for eighth place in the 2022 WSOP $250,000 No-Limit Hold'em Super High Roller.

Other major scores include his $471,170 fourth-bracelet victory in 2025, the $440,757 Omaha Hi-Lo Championship win in 2022 and a $345,000 runner-up finish in the 2023 PokerGO Tour Mixed Games $25,000 10-Game Championship.

⠀

Why Daniel Zack Matters in Poker

Daniel Zack's significance comes from more than the number of bracelets on his record.

His strongest accomplishments have been spread across several technically different poker variants, making versatility one of the defining themes of his career. Winning WSOP titles in four different formats is evidence of a player capable of adjusting to very different strategic environments.

The 2022 Player of the Year title further separates his career from a résumé built around isolated tournament victories. That award reflected performance across an entire WSOP series rather than a single result.

His continued success also demonstrates the importance of mixed-game expertise at the highest levels of tournament poker, where many of the most prestigious championship events require players to compete outside standard No-Limit Hold'em.

⠀

Daniel Zack's Current Poker Status

Daniel Zack remains an active tournament player.

PokerNews featured Zack as the defending champion when the $3,000 6-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha event returned at the 2026 World Series of Poker, confirming his continued presence around major WSOP competition.

His fourth bracelet in 2025 was his most recent major title verified for this profile. Hendon Mob's current record lists his most recent recorded live cash in September 2025, so any later tournament results should be checked before future profile updates.
