For several years, a WSOP bracelet was the major accomplishment missing from Lindgren's tournament résumé. That changed at the 2008 World Series of Poker.
Lindgren won his first bracelet in the $5,000 Mixed Hold’em event, defeating a 332-player field and Justin Bonomo heads-up. WSOP's official account of the victory recorded the win as Lindgren's breakthrough bracelet after several previous close calls.
