Gus Hansen's World Poker Tour Career
The World Poker Tour played a central role in Hansen's emergence as an international poker star.
Hansen won the inaugural Five Diamond World Poker Classic during the WPT's first season. The World Poker Tour's official event record lists Hansen as the champion, with John Juanda finishing second.
He followed that breakthrough with victories at the WPT L.A. Poker Classic in 2003 and the Caribbean Poker Adventure in 2004. According to the World Poker Tour, Hansen has three WPT titles, eight final tables and more than $4.1 million in WPT career earnings.

Gus Hansen's WSOP Bracelet
For years, Hansen's tournament résumé lacked a World Series of Poker bracelet despite his success elsewhere.
That changed at the 2010 WSOP Europe in London.
Hansen won the £10,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em Heads-Up Championship, defeating Jim Collopy in the final. The WSOP's account of Hansen's victory records the win as his first WSOP bracelet.
