Winning the 2015 EPT Prague Main Event
Ensan captured his first EPT Main Event championship at EPT Prague in December 2015. The €5,300 Main Event attracted 1,044 entries, and Ensan defeated Gleb Tremzin heads-up to win €754,510.
The victory came after Ensan had already reached EPT Main Event final tables in Barcelona and Malta. Winning in Prague therefore represented the culmination of an unusually productive stretch on the European tour rather than an isolated breakthrough.
His EPT record remained relevant after the title. Ensan later finished third in a €10,300 PokerStars Championship Prague High Roller in 2017 for €242,000 and continued returning to major PokerStars events in subsequent years.

Hossein Ensan’s WSOP Circuit Ring
Ensan added another major title in 2017 when he won a WSOP International Circuit Main Event at King’s Casino in Rozvadov.
The €1,650 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event victory paid €184,812 and earned Ensan a WSOP Circuit ring. According to his current WSOP player record, he has one Circuit ring in addition to the bracelet he later won in Las Vegas.
The result also demonstrated that Ensan’s success was not limited to the EPT. By the time he arrived at the 2019 WSOP Main Event, he had already won major European titles and accumulated years of experience in large live fields.

Winning the 2019 WSOP Main Event
Ensan’s career-defining result came at the 2019 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
