Inducted 2014

Justin Liberto has built a long-running tournament career highlighted by two World Series of Poker bracelets, four WSOP Circuit rings and success across both no-limit hold'em and mixed games. His first bracelet came in 2015, and an 11-year wait for his second ended during a standout 2026 WSOP in Las Vegas.

As of September 2026, The Hendon Mob lists Liberto with more than $8.4 million in live tournament earnings and a career-best cash of $640,711. His résumé also includes a WPTDeepStacks title, a PokerGO Tour mixed-game victory and repeated deep runs in major championship events.

⠀

Who Is Justin Liberto?

Justin Liberto is an American professional poker player associated with Maryland. The Hendon Mob lists Baltimore as his residence, while the World Series of Poker identified Baltimore as both his birthplace and residence when he won his first bracelet in 2015.

According to PokerNews, Liberto graduated from Virginia Tech and worked in sales before becoming a professional poker player. His recorded live tournament results date to 2009, giving him a career that has now stretched across more than 15 years.

Although his biggest early results came in no-limit hold'em, Liberto's later record shows considerable range. He has reached major final tables in hold'em, Omaha variants, lowball and other mixed-game formats, making versatility one of the clearest features of his tournament résumé.

⠀

Justin Liberto's Early Poker Career

Liberto was already recording live tournament results in 2009, but his national breakthrough arrived at the 2013 WSOP. He finished fourth in the $1,500 Millionaire Maker, earning $400,408 from a field of 6,343 entries.

That result gave his career significant momentum. Two years later, Liberto established himself on the WSOP Circuit as well. He won Circuit events at Harrah's Atlantic City and Horseshoe Baltimore during the 2014-15 season and earned Casino Champion honors at the Baltimore stop.

The Circuit success led into his biggest tournament victory to that point.

⠀

First WSOP Bracelet in 2015

Liberto won his first WSOP bracelet in the 2015 $3,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event. He defeated a field of 1,043 entries and earned $640,711, which remains his largest recorded live tournament cash as of September 2026.

The victory came two years after his Millionaire Maker breakthrough. The WSOP's official account of the bracelet win noted that Liberto had already developed a strong Circuit résumé and had reached a WSOP final table before capturing the title.

He continued producing deep WSOP runs after the victory rather than relying on a single breakthrough. Among them was another Millionaire Maker final table in 2018, when he finished fifth for $303,294.

⠀

WSOP Circuit Success

Liberto has four WSOP Circuit rings according to his current WSOP player profile.

His first Circuit ring came at Harrah's Atlantic City in December 2014. He added another during the 2015 Horseshoe Baltimore series while earning Casino Champion honors at his home-state stop.

By October 2019, Liberto had increased his total to four rings. His fourth came in a $400 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Max event at Horseshoe Baltimore, where he defeated Christian Harder heads-up.

The Circuit record forms an important part of Liberto's career because it shows sustained success outside the annual summer WSOP festival.

⠀

WPT and WPTDeepStacks Results

Liberto has also produced a substantial record on World Poker Tour properties. The World Poker Tour lists him with 20 Main Tour cashes and one Main Tour final table as of September 2026.

His biggest WPT-branded victory came in 2019, when he won the WPTDeepStacks Maryland Main Event. Liberto topped 371 entries in the $1,650 tournament and earned $116,363.

The WPT records that victory as one WPTDeepStacks title. He has not won a WPT Main Tour title.

⠀

Growth Into a Mixed-Game Competitor

One of the most notable developments in Liberto's later career has been his success across formats beyond no-limit hold'em.

At the 2023 WSOP, he finished runner-up in the $1,500 Razz event and also made the final table of the $3,000 Nine Game Mix. In 2025, he finished 14th in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and recorded additional deep runs in Big O and Omaha hi-lo events.

His mixed-game results became even stronger in 2026.

In February, Liberto entered the PokerGO Tour Mixed Games series and won the $5,100 8-Game event for $127,400. The victory was his first PGT title. PokerGO Tour reported that the tournament drew 98 entries and featured a final table that included Calvin Anderson, Johannes Becker and Brian Rast.

That win preceded the most accomplished WSOP summer of Liberto's career.

⠀

Justin Liberto Wins His Second WSOP Bracelet

Liberto captured his second bracelet in the 2026 WSOP $1,500 Mixed Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better and Big O event.

The victory earned him $265,297 and ended an 11-year gap between bracelet wins. The WSOP noted that Liberto had made seven WSOP final tables during the period between his first and second bracelet victories.

The second bracelet also reflected how much broader his tournament game had become. His first bracelet was in six-handed no-limit hold'em; his second came in a three-game Omaha mix.

⠀

Liberto's Standout 2026 WSOP

Winning a bracelet was only one part of Liberto's 2026 WSOP performance.

Just over a week after his second bracelet victory, he came close to adding a third. Liberto finished runner-up to Nathan Gamble in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, earning $511,580 from the 390-entry field.

He later finished ninth in the $2,500 Mixed Omaha Hi-Lo/Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo event, fourth in the $1,500 Pick Your PLO tournament and fifth in the $10,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship for $215,270.

Those results left Liberto fourth on the 2026 WSOP Player of the Year leaderboard with 2,827 points as of September 8, 2026. Under the 2026 WSOP system, Player of the Year points also include eligible WSOP Europe and WSOP Paradise events, so the standings can continue changing later in the year.
