Kenny Hallaert: Two-Time WSOP Main Event Finalist and PokerStars Ambassador
POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014
Kenny Hallaert has built an unusual poker career on both sides of the tournament table. The Belgian professional is a two-time World Series of Poker Main Event final tablist, an accomplished online player, a longtime tournament director and organizer, and a PokerStars Ambassador and live events advisor.
His two deepest WSOP Main Event runs came nine years apart. Hallaert finished sixth in 2016 for $1,464,258, then returned to the final table in 2025 and placed fourth for $3 million. The second result became the largest live cash of his career.
As of September 2026, Hendon Mob lists Hallaert with $9,279,878 in live tournament earnings and ranks him third on Belgium's all-time money list. Tournament earnings and rankings change as new results are recorded.
⠀
Who Is Kenny Hallaert?
Kenny Hallaert is a Belgian professional poker player from Ghent who resides in London, according to Hendon Mob. His poker résumé stretches back more than two decades and combines live tournament success, online poker accomplishments and extensive experience organizing and directing live events.
PokerStars says Hallaert began playing poker part-time in 2004 while working as an electrician. His career moved in another direction in 2008 when he received an opportunity to work professionally in the poker industry.
By 2009, he was directing tournaments at Casino de Namur in Belgium. His subsequent work included tournament and organizational roles connected with the European Poker Tour, France Poker Series and other European events.
That background separates Hallaert from many tournament professionals. He has spent years competing against players while also developing experience with the rules, structures and operational decisions that shape their tournament experience.
⠀
Kenny Hallaert's Poker Career
Hallaert's first recorded live tournament cash on Hendon Mob dates to 2006. His early career developed primarily in Europe, where he established himself as both a tournament player and an industry professional.
A significant international result came at the 2011 EPT Deauville Main Event. Hallaert reached the final table and finished sixth for €155,000.
His tournament résumé continued expanding through European Poker Tour events and the World Series of Poker, but the result that brought him substantially greater international attention arrived in Las Vegas in 2016.
⠀
Two WSOP Main Event Final Tables
Hallaert's defining live tournament accomplishment is reaching the WSOP Main Event final table twice.
2016 WSOP Main Event
The 2016 WSOP Main Event attracted 6,737 entries. Hallaert survived the field to become part of the November Nine and eventually finished sixth.
According to the official WSOP account of the 2016 Main Event, Hallaert earned $1,464,258 for his sixth-place finish. Qui Nguyen went on to win the championship.
The result established Hallaert as a Main Event finalist, but his performance nine years later made that achievement even more significant.
2025 WSOP Main Event
Hallaert returned to the WSOP Main Event final table in 2025.
The tournament drew 9,735 entries and generated a $90,535,500 prize pool. Hallaert advanced to the final four before being eliminated by eventual champion Michael Mizrachi.
Hallaert finished fourth for $3 million, according to the official 2025 WSOP Main Event results. The payout surpassed his 2016 Main Event score and became his largest recorded live tournament cash.
PokerNews reported in July 2026 that Hallaert was one of only 10 players since 2000 to have reached multiple WSOP Main Event final tables. His 2016 and 2025 appearances were separated by nine years.
Despite those deep Main Event runs, Hallaert had not won a WSOP bracelet as of September 2026.

Irish Open High Roller Victory
Hallaert added another important live title shortly before his second WSOP Main Event final table.
In April 2025, he won the €5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Max High Roller at the Irish Open in Dublin. The tournament attracted 147 entries and generated a €680,794 prize pool.
Hallaert defeated Elias Suhonen heads-up and collected €140,674 following a final-table deal. PokerStars described the victory as Hallaert's biggest live tournament win at the time, before his $3 million WSOP Main Event score later that year.
The Irish Open title also came approximately one year after Hallaert joined PokerStars as an ambassador.
⠀
Online Poker Career
Hallaert's tournament success extends well beyond live poker.
He is known online as "SpaceyFCB" and has accumulated millions of dollars in recorded online tournament earnings. Hendon Mob, using data supplied by PocketFives, lists more than $6.9 million in online earnings for Hallaert.
PokerStars also credits him with three Spring Championship of Online Poker titles.
His combination of online volume and major live results has allowed Hallaert to remain active across different eras of tournament poker rather than building his reputation around a single Main Event run.
⠀
Tournament Director and Poker Industry Career
Hallaert's work away from the felt is a major part of his poker identity.
After entering the poker industry professionally in 2008, he became a tournament director at Casino de Namur and later worked with events associated with the European Poker Tour and France Poker Series. PokerStars has also credited him with helping establish poker rooms in Namur and Spa and assisting with the management of European tournament series.
In 2022, Hallaert joined the Tournament Directors Association.
That experience eventually became part of his relationship with PokerStars. In May 2024, PokerStars announced Hallaert as an ambassador and live events advisor, giving him a role that combined player representation with input on the company's live tournament operations.
The current PokerStars profile for Hallaert continues to list him as a member of Team PokerStars.
⠀
Does Kenny Hallaert Have a WSOP Bracelet?
Hallaert had not won a WSOP bracelet as of September 2026.
That distinction is notable because his strongest WSOP results have come in poker's most prominent tournament. He finished sixth in the 2016 Main Event and fourth in the 2025 Main Event without winning the championship.
He also had no recorded WSOP Circuit rings as of September 2026.
⠀
Does Kenny Hallaert Have a WPT Title?
Hallaert had not won a World Poker Tour title as of September 2026.
The World Poker Tour's player records list multiple WPT cashes but no Main Tour victories. His WPT results include a ninth-place finish in the 2023 WPT EveryOne for One Drop at Wynn Las Vegas for $257,600.
⠀
Kenny Hallaert's Career Earnings
As of September 2026, Hendon Mob lists Hallaert with $9,279,878 in live tournament earnings.
His $3 million fourth-place finish in the 2025 WSOP Main Event is his largest recorded live cash. His 2016 Main Event sixth-place finish for $1,464,258 remains another major component of his career total.
Those figures represent recorded live tournament results rather than a calculation of poker profit. Tournament databases generally report gross cashes and do not subtract buy-ins, travel costs, staking arrangements, taxes or other expenses.
⠀
Kenny Hallaert's Playing Reputation
Hallaert is primarily known as a tournament poker specialist, particularly in No-Limit Hold'em.
His record demonstrates considerable experience in large-field events. Reaching two WSOP Main Event final tables nine years apart required deep runs through fields of 6,737 entries in 2016 and 9,735 entries in 2025.
His online career adds another dimension. Millions in recorded online earnings and three SCOOP titles show a tournament résumé developed across both live and internet poker.
Rather than assigning Hallaert a subjective style label, his results support a more concrete description: he is an experienced tournament specialist with sustained success across live and online competition.
⠀
Kenny Hallaert's Impact on Poker
Hallaert's significance within poker extends beyond his tournament winnings.
His career has placed him in several different roles: player, tournament director, organizer, industry advisor and ambassador. That combination gives him practical experience with poker tournaments from both the competitor's and operator's perspectives.
His PokerStars live events advisory role formalized that crossover. The company said when announcing the partnership in 2024 that Hallaert would provide player feedback and suggestions to its live events team.
His two WSOP Main Event final tables provide the most visible measure of his playing career, while his tournament-management work represents a separate contribution to the European live poker ecosystem.
⠀

His 2026 Las Vegas summer included multiple WSOP cashes and a 17th-place finish in the $10,400 Wynn Summer Championship for $86,568.
Hallaert also remained a PokerStars Ambassador and live events advisor during 2026. His continued tournament schedule, combined with that industry role, reflects a career that remains active both at the tables and behind the scenes.
