Khoa Anh Ngo: Triton Champion and Vietnamese High-Roller Standout
POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014
Khoa Anh Ngo has emerged as one of Vietnam's most successful live tournament players, turning a rapid rise through Asian poker events into multiple Triton titles and a seven-figure breakthrough on the Super High Roller Series. The Hanoi-based player entered September 2026 with a growing high-roller résumé and then delivered the biggest result of his career by winning a $25,000 Triton event in Jeju for $1.09 million.
As of September 15, 2026, The Hendon Mob lists Ngo with more than $4.17 million in live tournament earnings, a career-best cash of $1.09 million, and second place on Vietnam's all-time money list. Those figures can change as new tournament results are added.
⠀
Who Is Khoa Anh Ngo?
Khoa Anh Ngo is a Vietnamese tournament poker player whose results have been concentrated primarily in no-limit hold'em events across Asia, particularly in Vietnam and South Korea.
Hendon Mob lists his nationality as Vietnam and his residence as Hanoi. His recorded tournament résumé includes results from the Asian Poker Tour, Triton ONE, the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series, Red Dragon Poker Tour events, the World Series of Poker, and other regional festivals.
Ngo's rise has been relatively recent. In an interview following his September 2026 Triton victory, he told PokerNews that he began playing poker during the COVID-19 pandemic. Within a few years, he had progressed from regional events to competing successfully against established high-stakes tournament professionals.
⠀
Khoa Anh Ngo's Poker Career
Ngo's recorded results show a steady progression from smaller and mid-stakes Asian tournaments into increasingly expensive high-roller events.
By 2023, he was already producing notable finishes in major regional tournaments. He placed third in the WPT Vietnam Main Event in Hanoi in October 2023, earning the equivalent of more than $77,000 in a tournament that attracted 850 entries.
His results accelerated significantly during 2025. Ngo became a regular presence at major festivals in South Korea, where a series of victories established him as one of Vietnam's leading tournament players.
That run included a breakthrough at the inaugural Triton ONE festival in Jeju.
⠀
Two Triton ONE Titles
Ngo won his first Triton ONE trophy in September 2025, taking down a $2,000 One Night No-Limit Hold'em event in Jeju. Triton reported that the tournament drew 132 entries and awarded Ngo $58,700 for first place.
The result came only days after he had finished ninth in the Triton ONE Genesis event for $38,202.
His second Triton ONE title arrived in March 2026 and represented a major step forward in both stakes and prize money.
Ngo defeated a 347-entry field in the $10,000 seven-handed no-limit hold'em event at Triton ONE Jeju, earning $612,000. The victory made him the first player to win two Triton ONE titles, a distinction that remained intact when he returned to Jeju later in 2026.
Winning twice on the developmental Triton ONE tour also provided a pathway into the considerably more expensive Super High Roller Series.
⠀
$1.09 Million Triton Super High Roller Victory
Ngo's biggest career result came at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju II in September 2026.
He entered the $25,000 plus $1,500 Triton Golden Decade event, which attracted 210 entries and generated a $5.25 million prize pool. Ngo reached a final table that included established high-stakes professionals such as Isaac Haxton, David Coleman, Anatoly Filatov, and Aren Bezhanyan.
Ngo entered the final day near the bottom of the remaining chip counts but moved into contention after doubling through Coleman. He later eliminated Bezhanyan and Haxton before reaching heads-up play against Filatov.
Ngo defeated Filatov to win the tournament and collect $1,090,000.
The victory was his first seven-figure live tournament cash and his first title on Triton's Super High Roller Series. Combined with his two Triton ONE victories, it gave him three Triton trophies across the two circuits.
PokerNews reported after the victory that Ngo was, at that point, the first and only two-time Triton ONE champion.

Success on the Asian Poker Tour
Ngo's résumé also includes multiple victories on the Asian Poker Tour.
At APT Jeju in October 2025, he won the KRW 7 million APT High Roller. The tournament recorded 305 total entries including re-entries, with Ngo earning KRW 261.4 million, approximately $186,000 based on Hendon Mob's recorded conversion.
That became his first APT title.
He added another in August 2026 at APT Incheon. The Asian Poker Tour reported that Ngo won the Single Day High Roller for KRW 52.87 million, making it his second APT title.
Only days later, Ngo nearly added another major victory at the same festival. He finished runner-up in the KRW 35 million Superstar Challenge for KRW 239.21 million, approximately $169,000 according to Hendon Mob.
His APT record reinforces a pattern visible throughout his recent career: Ngo has been particularly successful in no-limit hold'em high rollers played in South Korea.
⠀
Other Major Tournament Victories
Ngo's rise was not limited to Triton and APT competition.
In November 2025, he won the Red Dragon Prestige Super High Roller during the Jeju Poker Festival, earning KRW 426.157 million. Hendon Mob records the result at approximately $292,560.
He continued winning in Jeju in January 2026, taking first place in a K Poker Cup high roller for KRW 181.7 million, worth approximately $126,000 at the recorded exchange rate.
These results helped bridge the gap between Ngo's early regional success and his eventual move into Triton's super high roller environment.
⠀
Khoa Anh Ngo's WSOP Results
Ngo has also competed at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
His 2026 WSOP results include cashes in the $1,500 Monster Stack, $1,500 Millionaire Maker, and a $2,500 no-limit hold'em bracelet event.
He has not won a WSOP bracelet as of September 15, 2026. His career remains much more closely associated with Asian tournament poker and Triton's high-roller ecosystem than with the WSOP.
⠀
Khoa Anh Ngo's Live Tournament Earnings
As of September 15, 2026, Hendon Mob lists Khoa Anh Ngo with $4,170,532 in live tournament earnings.
His largest recorded cash is the $1.09 million prize from his September 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series victory.
Hendon Mob also ranks him second on Vietnam's all-time live tournament money list as of that date.
Career tournament earnings should always be viewed as a changing statistic. New cashes, database updates, and differences in how individual databases track results can alter a player's listed total.

⠀
What Kind of Poker Player Is Khoa Anh Ngo?
Ngo's tournament record identifies him primarily as a no-limit hold'em tournament specialist.
His recent results also demonstrate an ability to compete across a wide range of buy-ins. His first Triton ONE victory came in a $2,000 event, while later successes included a $10,000 Triton ONE tournament and a $25,000-plus Super High Roller Series event.
Rather than attaching a subjective label such as loose-aggressive or tight-aggressive without sufficient evidence, his documented results support a more concrete description: Ngo has developed into an increasingly successful high-roller tournament player with particular strength in Asian live events.
His transition from Triton ONE to the Super High Roller Series is especially significant. Triton ONE was designed to provide a more accessible route into the Triton environment, and Ngo became one of its clearest examples of a player successfully moving from that circuit into the tour's elite-level competition.
⠀
Khoa Anh Ngo's Place in Vietnamese Poker
Ngo's rise also places him among the most successful Vietnamese players measured by recorded live tournament earnings.
Hendon Mob ranked him second on Vietnam's all-time money list in September 2026, with his Triton victory pushing his career total beyond $4 million.
That standing is notable because much of his growth occurred over a relatively short period. Major victories at APT Jeju, the Jeju Poker Festival, Triton ONE, and the Triton Super High Roller Series rapidly transformed his tournament résumé between late 2025 and September 2026.
His success adds to Vietnam's growing representation in major Asian high-roller tournaments, particularly in Jeju, which has become one of the central destinations on Ngo's tournament schedule.
⠀
What Is Khoa Anh Ngo Doing Now?
Ngo remained highly active on the international tournament circuit through September 2026.
After winning the $25,000 Triton Golden Decade event for $1.09 million, he immediately continued playing at Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju II. Hendon Mob's latest listed result as of September 15 shows him finishing 23rd in the $30,000 plus $1,800 eight-handed event for another $47,000.
That result followed a 24th-place finish worth $36,500 in the festival's $20,000 plus $1,200 eight-handed event.
With two Triton ONE titles, a Super High Roller Series trophy, multiple APT victories, and a career-best score exceeding $1 million, Ngo entered the latter part of 2026 as an established participant in Asia's high-stakes tournament scene rather than simply a regional prospect.
