Natasha Mercier: $3.6 Million Tournament Pro and WSOP Paradise Finalist
POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014
Natasha Mercier has built a live tournament career spanning more than 15 years, with deep runs at the World Series of Poker, European Poker Tour, World Poker Tour and WSOP Circuit. The Lebanese poker professional reached a new level in December 2025 when she finished sixth in the $25,000 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event for $1.8 million, the largest live tournament cash of her career.
As of September 2026, the Hendon Mob player database lists Mercier with $3,689,538 in live tournament earnings. That figure can change as new results are recorded. Her résumé includes two near-misses in WSOP bracelet events, a major WSOP Paradise final table and a strong run of international results in 2026.
⠀
Who Is Natasha Mercier?
Natasha Mercier, formerly known in tournament records as Natasha Barbour, is a Lebanese professional poker player born in Beirut and based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, according to Hendon Mob.
Her tournament record is centered primarily on No-Limit Hold'em, although her results also include cashes in other formats. Mercier has competed in major events across the United States, Europe and the Bahamas and has recorded tournament results dating back to at least 2009.
An official WSOP report from 2010 described Barbour as a University of South Florida student studying microbiology before deciding to pursue poker more seriously. That transition quickly produced a significant early result when she won a WSOP Circuit event at Horseshoe Council Bluffs.
Mercier is married to Jason Mercier, the multiple-bracelet-winning professional who has been one of the most prominent tournament players of his generation. Natasha Mercier, however, has established an extensive tournament résumé of her own through results accumulated over more than a decade.
⠀
Natasha Mercier's Poker Career
Mercier's early tournament record was built largely in regional events and on the WSOP Circuit.
In February 2010, competing as Natasha Barbour, she won a $300 No-Limit Hold'em event at the WSOP Circuit stop at Horseshoe Council Bluffs. The official WSOP report listed the victory as her first poker title and awarded her $12,444 along with a Circuit gold ring.
More regional victories and final tables followed. Hendon Mob records show wins in World Poker Tour regional events in Tampa and other tournaments before she began producing increasingly significant results on poker's largest stages.
Her breakthrough at the World Series of Poker came in 2015.

Major WSOP Final Tables
Runner-Up in the 2015 WSOP $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Event
Mercier came within one heads-up match of winning a WSOP bracelet in 2015.
Playing as Natasha Barbour, she reached the final two from a field of 1,844 entries in Event #20, a $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament. Ben Zamani ultimately won the event, while Barbour earned $284,911 for second place.
The result was one of the strongest WSOP performances of her career at the time and established her as a player capable of navigating large-field bracelet events.
Third Place in the 2016 WSOP $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Event
Mercier returned to a WSOP final table the following summer.
She placed third in the 2016 $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em event for $348,374. The tournament was won by Yue Du, while Michael Gentili finished second.
The result gave Mercier consecutive summers with a top-three finish in an open WSOP bracelet event. She again came close to becoming a bracelet winner but finished short of the title.
⠀
$1.8 Million at the 2025 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event
Mercier recorded the defining cash of her tournament career at the 2025 WSOP Paradise series in the Bahamas.
The $25,000 Super Main Event attracted 2,891 entries and generated a $57,841,750 prize pool. Mercier advanced to the final table and ultimately finished sixth for $1.8 million.
Bernhard Binder won the tournament and its $10 million first prize, but Mercier's sixth-place finish dramatically increased her career earnings and became her largest recorded live cash.
The performance also placed her among the biggest individual tournament scores recorded by a woman in poker. In a 2026 WSOP article reviewing major women's tournament results, the WSOP listed Mercier's $1.8 million score among the largest live tournament cashes by a woman.
⠀
Natasha Mercier's 2026 Results
Mercier remained highly active in 2026 rather than disappearing from tournament poker after her WSOP Paradise breakthrough.
One of her strongest results came at EPT Barcelona in August. Mercier reached heads-up play in the €2,700 EPT Second Chance, an event that attracted 844 entries and generated a €2,046,700 prize pool.
Scott Margereson defeated Mercier heads-up for the title. Mercier received €225,580 for second place, which Hendon Mob converted to approximately $263,000 for its live tournament database.
She followed the Barcelona run with another major final table in September at WSOP Circuit Paris. Mercier finished ninth in the €1,500 Main Event for €20,500.
Those results helped push her Hendon Mob live tournament earnings above $3.6 million by September 2026.
⠀
Natasha Mercier's Career Earnings
As of September 2026, Hendon Mob lists Natasha Mercier with $3,689,538 in total live tournament earnings.
Her largest recorded cashes include:
$1,800,000 for sixth place in the 2025 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event
$348,374 for third place in the 2016 WSOP $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em event
$284,911 for second place in the 2015 WSOP $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event
Approximately $263,000 for second place in the 2026 EPT Barcelona €2,700 EPT Second Chance
Tournament earnings databases measure recorded cashes rather than a player's profit. They do not account for buy-ins, travel expenses, backing arrangements, swaps or other costs associated with playing professional poker.
⠀
How Many WSOP Bracelets Does Natasha Mercier Have?
Natasha Mercier has not won a WSOP bracelet as of September 2026.
She has nevertheless come close on multiple occasions. Her best bracelet-event finishes include second place in the 2015 $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event, third place in the 2016 $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em event and sixth place in the 2025 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event.
⠀
How Many WSOP Circuit Rings Does Natasha Mercier Have?
Published WSOP records are currently inconsistent about Natasha Mercier's Circuit-ring total.
The WSOP's original 2010 reporting confirms that she won a Circuit gold ring at Horseshoe Council Bluffs. Historical WSOP reporting in 2013 also described her as having one ring.
A WSOP feature published during the 2025 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event described Mercier as having two WSOP Circuit rings. However, current WSOP player-profile records are inconsistent: separate WSOP profile pages have displayed different totals, including one ring and zero rings.
Because the official records conflict, the most defensible statement as of September 2026 is that Mercier has at least one independently verified WSOP Circuit ring, won in 2010. A precise higher total should not be treated as settled until the WSOP reconciles its player records.
⠀
Does Natasha Mercier Have a WPT or EPT Title?
Natasha Mercier does not have a verified WPT Main Tour or European Poker Tour Main Event title as of September 2026.
She has recorded numerous cashes in events associated with both tours. Her most notable recent EPT result was her runner-up finish in the €2,700 EPT Second Chance at EPT Barcelona in August 2026.
Earlier in her career, she also won multiple WPT regional events, which are distinct from winning a WPT Main Tour championship title.
⠀
Natasha Mercier's Playing Style and Tournament Reputation
Mercier's tournament record shows a career built predominantly around No-Limit Hold'em, with results ranging from smaller regional events to some of the largest championship tournaments in poker.
Her repeated deep runs in large fields are a more reliable description of her tournament reputation than assigning an unsupported stylistic label such as loose-aggressive or tight-aggressive. She has reached major final tables in different eras of tournament poker and has continued producing significant results after lengthy gaps between her largest scores.
Her 2015 and 2016 WSOP final tables demonstrated her ability to compete deep in open bracelet events. The $1.8 million WSOP Paradise result nearly a decade later showed that those earlier performances were not the limit of her tournament career.
⠀
Why Natasha Mercier Matters in Poker
Mercier's career is notable for both longevity and the scale of her biggest results.
She was already a WSOP Circuit winner by 2010, reached consecutive high-profile WSOP final tables in 2015 and 2016, and then produced the largest score of her career at WSOP Paradise in 2025.
Her 2026 results strengthened that résumé further. A runner-up finish at EPT Barcelona followed by a WSOP Circuit Paris Main Event final table showed that she remained an active international tournament competitor after crossing the $3 million mark in recorded live earnings.
For readers who remember her earlier tournament appearances under the name Natasha Barbour, the later results under Natasha Mercier form part of the same career record.
⠀
Natasha Mercier's Current Status
Natasha Mercier remains an active tournament player as of September 2026.
Her recent schedule has included WSOP events in Las Vegas, Seminole Hard Rock tournaments in Florida, EPT Barcelona and WSOP Circuit Paris. Hendon Mob recorded multiple cashes for her during 2026, including the EPT Barcelona runner-up result and Paris Main Event final table.
With more than $3.6 million in recorded live earnings and a career-best $1.8 million score achieved in late 2025, Mercier entered the latter part of 2026 with some of the strongest results of her career still relatively recent.
