Who Is Seth Davies?
Seth Davies is an American professional poker player from Bend, Oregon, whose career developed from online poker into regular competition in the world's biggest live high rollers and super high rollers.
PokerNews reports that Davies' recorded live tournament results date to 2010. He earned an early major cash at the 2011 WSOP Main Event, finishing 123rd for $54,851, but his career initially centered much more heavily on online poker.
Davies has described an athletic background that played an important role in his path to poker. He was a standout high school baseball player and went to the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas intending to continue playing the sport. Seth Davies' WPT Breakthrough
Davies established himself nationally as a live tournament player in 2016 when he won the partypoker WPT Canadian Spring Championship at Playground Poker Club.
The World Poker Tour recorded 417 entries in the CAD $3,500 championship. Davies defeated Ruben Perceval heads-up and earned $226,893, with the prize including entry into the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions.
The victory gave Davies his first WPT title and represented an important turning point in his live career. He followed it with a second-place finish in the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship for $575,000 and steadily moved into higher buy-in tournaments.

Becoming a High-Stakes Tournament Regular
By the late 2010s, Davies had become a regular in high rollers featuring many of the strongest tournament players in poker.
His results included a series of six-figure final tables and eventually seven-figure scores. In November 2019, he finished fifth in the $250,000 Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas for $1,020,000, his first recorded live tournament payday of at least $1 million.
Davies continued competing at that level over the following seasons. He placed fourth in the 2021 WSOP $250,000 Super High Roller for $930,791 and finished second in the 2023 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $100,000 Super High Roller for $1,078,347.

Super High Roller Bowl Victories
Davies added two particularly significant titles in 2024.
In August, he won the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl IX in Cyprus for $3,206,000. At the time, it was the largest recorded live score of his career and one of his most important victories at the highest level of tournament poker.
He followed that performance in October by winning the $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Super High Roller Bowl in Las Vegas for $1.5 million.
The PLO victory also demonstrated that Davies' major-event success was not limited entirely to no-limit hold'em. While most of his biggest tournament accomplishments have come in no-limit hold'em, he has produced significant results in pot-limit Omaha and other high-stakes formats.

Seth Davies' First Triton Poker Title
Davies had accumulated years of deep runs on the Triton Poker circuit before finally winning one of its events.
That breakthrough came at Triton Montenegro in May 2025. Davies defeated a 143-entry field in the $50,000 eight-handed no-limit hold'em event, earning $1,490,741 after a heads-up deal with Danilo Velasevic.
PokerNews reported that Davies had previously recorded four third-place finishes on the tour without reaching heads-up play. His Montenegro victory therefore filled one of the most notable gaps on his high-roller résumé.
The rest of the festival made the accomplishment even more significant. Davies followed the victory by finishing second in the $200,000 Triton Invitational for $4.19 million, which temporarily became the biggest live cash of his career.

Winning His First WSOP Bracelet
Less than a month after his Triton success, Davies reached another major career milestone at the 2025 World Series of Poker.
He won Event #46, the $250,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold'em, defeating Alex Foxen heads-up for $4,752,551 and his first WSOP bracelet.
The official WSOP results show that the tournament attracted 63 entries and generated a prize pool of more than $15.5 million. The final table included several established high-stakes professionals, with Thomas Boivin finishing third, Bryn Kenney fourth, Chris Brewer fifth and David Peters sixth.
The $4,752,551 first prize surpassed Davies' runner-up payday from the Triton Invitational and remains his largest recorded live tournament cash as of August 2026.
The bracelet also carried significance because Davies had already compiled years of major high-roller results without winning a WSOP event. PokerNews noted after the victory that Davies had entered 2025 regarded as one of the leading high-stakes players still seeking a bracelet.
