Irish Tournament Player and Killarney Main Event Champion
POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014
Tadhg Ryan is an Irish poker player whose tournament results include victories in two different events at the Killarney Poker Festival. He won the Killarney Poker Cup in 2025 before capturing the festival’s Main Event in 2026, when he collected €100,000.
Those wins came in separate editions and separate tournaments. The Poker Cup success was an earlier festival title, not a previous Main Event championship.

Killarney Poker Cup Victory
Ryan won the €400 Killarney Poker Cup during the September 2025 festival. Live Poker Updates recorded his first prize as €17,540, while the festival recap listed a field of 196 entries.
That result established a successful Killarney connection before his larger Main Event win the following year. The contemporary winner announcement identifies Ryan and the payout.

2026 Main Event Championship
On October 18, 2026, Ryan finished first in the €700 Killarney Poker Festival Main Event at the Gleneagle Arena in County Kerry. The tournament attracted 884 entries and produced a €526,160 prize pool, with 89 finishing positions paid.
The Irish Poker Tour’s official results list Ryan’s €100,000 winning prize. The six-figure result was substantially larger than Ryan’s earlier Poker Cup prize.
