Running Aces Casino Poker Room Guide

Running Aces Casino, Hotel & Racetrack is a 24-hour card-room destination in Columbus, Minnesota, north of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area. The property combines live poker, casino-style table games, seasonal harness racing, simulcast wagering, dining, entertainment, and an on-site hotel.

For poker players, the main attraction is a dedicated live poker operation that runs around the clock. Running Aces publishes a mix of Limit Hold'em, spread-limit Hold'em, and spread-limit Omaha games and also maintains an active tournament program.

⠀

Running Aces Poker Room Overview

Running Aces operates at 15201 Running Aces Blvd. in Columbus, Minnesota.

The official Running Aces website confirms that live poker is available 24 hours a day. PokerAtlas currently lists 20 poker tables, although Running Aces does not publish a current poker-table count on its own poker page.

Players should check the official Running Aces poker page before traveling because the actual cash-game mix can change throughout the day.

Running Aces also directs players to BravoPokerLive for current live-game and tournament information.

⠀

Cash Games at Running Aces

Running Aces currently publishes the following live poker games:

• $3-$6 Limit Texas Hold'em

• $4-$8 Limit Half Kill Texas Hold'em

• $20-$40 Limit Texas Hold'em

• $2-$100 Spread Limit Texas Hold'em

• $4-$20 Spread Limit Texas Hold'em

• $4-$20 Spread Limit Omaha High

• $5-$100 Spread Limit Omaha High

Not every listed game should be expected to run at all times. Table availability and limits depend on player demand.

Running Aces advises players to call the card room at 651-925-4569 approximately one hour before arriving to join the waiting list and confirm which games are running.

The room also maintains Hold'em and Omaha jackpot promotions. Because jackpot amounts and promotional rules change, players should verify the current terms directly with Running Aces rather than relying on older published amounts.

⠀

Poker Tournaments

Running Aces has an active poker tournament program in addition to its cash games.

The room currently schedules tournaments throughout the week, including multiple Texas Hold'em events and a Pot-Limit Omaha tournament on the first Sunday of the month. Buy-ins, starting stacks, registration times, special events, and individual tournament formats vary.

Running Aces specifically notes that weekly tournaments are subject to change and can be preempted by larger tournament events.

Players planning a tournament trip should review the official Running Aces tournament page and the weekly poker tournament schedule shortly before traveling.

⠀

Hours and Waiting List

Live poker operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The dedicated card-room phone number is 651-925-4569. Running Aces tells players they can call approximately one hour before arrival to get onto the waiting list and check which poker games are currently available.

Current live-game information is also available through BravoPokerLive.

For tournaments, registration opening times depend on the individual event. Players should check the current tournament listing rather than assuming registration procedures are identical for every tournament.

⠀

Room Size and Layout

PokerAtlas currently lists Running Aces as a 20-table poker room.

The poker operation is part of Running Aces' larger card-room casino, which also offers casino-style table games.

Running Aces does not currently publish a detailed poker-room floor plan or a more precise interior location for the poker section on its website. First-time visitors should follow card-room signage or ask casino staff for poker-room directions after entering the property.

⠀

Poker Cashier and Player Services

Running Aces does not publish detailed poker-specific chip purchase and cash-out procedures on its current poker webpage.

PokerAtlas lists check cashing and currency exchange as services available at the casino cage. Players needing those services should verify current policies and identification requirements directly with the property.

Aces Rewards enrollment is also available at the property. Promotions and rewards can change, so current terms should be confirmed at the Aces Rewards desk.

⠀

Parking and Getting to Running Aces

Running Aces provides free on-site parking.

The property states that its main parking lot has more than 1,200 parking spaces. Additional parking near the horse barns can be used when needed for larger events.

The casino's official address is:

15201 Running Aces Blvd. Columbus, MN 55025

Running Aces notes that an older address, 15201 Zurich St. NE, may still appear in some mapping systems. Players using GPS should use the current Running Aces Boulevard address or review the official Running Aces directions.

Because the property also hosts horse racing, concerts, and other special events, players visiting during a major event should allow additional time for arrival and parking.

⠀

Dining at Running Aces

Players do not need to leave the property for food.

Trout Air Tavern and Trout Air Express provide on-site food and beverage service. Running Aces currently lists bar and concession service from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday.

Full restaurant hours are more limited and can vary with the property's live-racing schedule.

Players planning a long cash session or tournament day can check the current Running Aces food menu for updated dining hours and available menu items.

⠀

Running Aces Hotel

Running Aces has an on-property hotel at 15215 Running Aces Blvd., immediately associated with the casino complex.

Running Aces describes the hotel and casino as connected, giving overnight guests indoor access between their accommodations and the gaming property.

Hotel amenities include free parking, Wi-Fi, an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness facilities, breakfast service, and access to the property's dining and bar options.

The hotel's presence makes Running Aces practical for players traveling specifically for a tournament series or extended poker session because lodging is available at the same destination.

For lodging information, see Running Aces Hotel & Casino, Trademark Collection by Wyndham.

⠀

Other Running Aces Amenities

Running Aces is more than a poker room. The property also includes:

• Casino-style table games

• Seasonal live harness racing

• Year-round simulcast wagering

• On-site dining and bar service

• Running Aces Hotel

• Indoor hotel pool and fitness facilities

• Live entertainment and special events

• A smoke-free casino and hotel environment

Players should keep the broader event calendar in mind when planning visits because racing nights, concerts, and other events may increase activity around the property.

⠀

Practical Tips for Poker Players

Call 651-925-4569 before driving to Running Aces if you are looking for a particular cash game. The room specifically allows players to call ahead approximately one hour before arrival for the waiting list.

Check BravoPokerLive for current games and lists rather than assuming every published limit will be running.

Tournament players should verify the day's schedule directly with Running Aces because weekly events can be changed or replaced by larger tournament series.

If you are staying overnight, the on-property Running Aces Hotel eliminates the need to drive between the poker room and a separate hotel.

Free parking is available, but players arriving during major racing or entertainment events should give themselves additional time.
