ClubWPT Gold Announces 5 Million Guaranteed Free-Entry Tournament
ClubWPT Gold will run a free-entry online tournament throughout November with an advertised 5,000,000 guarantee and a 1,000,000 first prize, according to an October 30 announcement from the World Poker Tour. The first Day 1 flights begin Sunday, November 1, and continue through November 28.
ClubWPT Gold called it the biggest tournament and largest guarantee in the platform’s history. The official announcement says every player receives one free entry in each available starting flight.
At least two Day 1 flights each day
The schedule includes at least two Day 1 flights daily, starting at 1 p.m. PT and 7 p.m. PT. ClubWPT Gold said it plans to announce additional flights for the final week.
Each flight follows the same advancement structure:
The top 5% of the field receives a share of that Day 1 flight’s prize pool.
The top 3% advances to Day 2.
Players who qualify more than once combine their advancing stacks for Day 2.
Free entry, re-entries and add-ons
The free-entry offer covers one entry per flight. Players who are eliminated may re-enter for 100 Chips, and each flight allows one 50-Chip add-on.
The announcement lists the overall guarantee and first prize as 5,000,000 and 1,000,000. Because ClubWPT Gold is a sweepstakes-based poker platform, eligibility, verification and redemption rules apply rather than the terms of a conventional cash buy-in tournament.
Players should check current eligibility rules
The event is open to eligible ClubWPT Gold players. The platform says no purchase is necessary and that play is void where prohibited. Its current information page directs players to the latest terms for age, location and other restrictions.
Players can find the tournament in the ClubWPT Gold lobby. The operator had not announced the added final-week flight times when the tournament was revealed.
