Irish Poker Open 2027 Online Qualification Opens on PokerStars
PokerStars opened online qualification for the 2027 Irish Poker Open on October 25, giving players a route into the €1,150 Main Event before the festival returns to Dublin’s Royal Dublin Society from March 18–29.
The organizer’s launch announcement lists an initial satellite program through November 22, 2026. PokerStars confirmed the campaign on October 26. The development concerns qualification for next year’s event; the festival dates were announced earlier in October.

Tickets and packages carry different prizes
The opening program uses €109 qualifiers, with feeder satellites starting at €1.10. A feeder is an earlier qualifying stage: its advertised starting price does not buy direct entry to the live Main Event.
The published schedule lists two €1,150 Main Event tickets guaranteed on each of October 26, 28 and 30. From November 2, the listed Monday, Wednesday and Friday tournaments guarantee four tickets apiece.
Sunday qualifiers on November 1, 8, 15 and 22 instead advertise eight €1,500 packages each. Each package includes the €1,150 Main Event entry plus money towards expenses, so it differs from an entry-only ticket.
Satellite offerings and guarantees can vary across regional PokerStars platforms, the organizer says. Players should check the relevant client for local availability and the terms of the specific qualifier.
Three headline guarantees in Dublin
The festival announcement sets a €2.5 million guaranteed prize pool for the Main Event. The Mini Irish Open and Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty each carry a separate €1 million guarantee. These are announced minimum pools for the respective tournaments.
PokerStars and Paddy Power are supporting the 2027 festival. Online qualification gives players an advance entry route, while the live tournament schedule covers the full March 18–29 visit to the Royal Dublin Society.
The official satellite listings and festival schedule provide the next checks as the qualifying campaign continues.
