WSOP Super Circuit LATAM Announces Punta Cana Debut

The World Series of Poker has announced the first Super Circuit LATAM festival at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The series is scheduled for January 24–February 2, 2027, with 18 WSOP Circuit ring events.
The October 23 WSOP announcement identifies a $3,500 Main Event with a $2 million guaranteed prize pool as the festival’s centerpiece. WSOP says the stop will be the first official WSOP event hosted by the resort and the Super Circuit series’ first Caribbean appearance.
Main Event begins January 28
The official tournament schedule lists the Main Event’s starting flights on January 28, 29 and 30. Those dates sit within the longer festival, which begins four days earlier.
The opening day features a $500 no-limit hold’em Kickoff and a $5,000 Hard Rock High Roller. Other scheduled options include a $400 Mini Main Event beginning January 26 and a $1,500 pot-limit Omaha Monster Stack on January 25. A $25,000 no-limit hold’em Super High Roller is listed for January 27.
A new Circuit destination
The announcement expands the Super Circuit calendar into the Dominican Republic. These are Circuit ring competitions; the advertised 18 events should not be described as 18 WSOP bracelet tournaments.
The $2 million figure is the Main Event’s advertised guarantee, not a final prize pool or a promised individual first prize. Final entries and payouts will depend on the event as played.
Hard Rock’s event page corroborates the festival dates and venue. Players can consult it alongside the official WSOP schedule for current event and travel information.
