Yu Chung Chang Wins TMT High Roller for TWD 1,566,200

Yu Chung Chang won Event 77, the TWD 100,000 High Roller, at the 2026 TMT Championship in Taipei on October 25. The Taiwanese player earned TWD 1,566,200 for the victory at CTP Asia Poker Arena.
The official CTP payout sheet lists 51 entries, a TWD 4,602,240 prize pool and eight paid finishers. Those published figures confirm the event result without relying on an advertised guarantee or an unreported deal.
A 51-entry high roller in Taipei
The TWD 100,000 buy-in made Event 77 one of the larger-stakes tournaments on the TMT Championship schedule. Chang’s listed first prize represented just over one-third of the final prize pool, while the remaining payouts were distributed across seven other finishers.
CTP’s festival record places the tournament at CTP Asia Poker Arena during the October 16–26 championship festival. The High Roller was a standalone side event, separate from the festival’s Main Event and other tournaments.
Chang adds another high-roller title
The result extends a strong 2026 run for Chang. The Asian Poker Tour’s official player page lists him with eight APT titles, 72 cashes and $1,641,912 in APT winnings through October 25. Those totals apply to APT events rather than his complete tournament record.
His largest result on that APT page is a $337,147 win in the Superstar Challenge on September 28, 2026. The TMT victory came less than a month later and added another major high-roller result in Asia, this time on the Taiwan Millions Tournament schedule.
Tournament cashes are gross returns. They do not show profit after buy-ins and expenses, and they are not evidence of a player’s net worth.
TMT Championship reaches its final day
The High Roller concluded on the penultimate day of the TMT Championship. The festival schedule runs through October 26, with the Main Event and remaining side events recorded separately from Chang’s Event 77 result.
