Encore Las Vegas

Encore is one of the most convenient Las Vegas hotels for players using the Wynn Poker Room because the room is located on the Encore casino floor. There is no outdoor commute, making the property particularly practical for early tournament starts, long tournament days and late-night cash sessions. A player can return to the hotel tower without arranging transportation or making a lengthy walk along the Strip.

The hotel also works well for players using The Venetian Poker Room, which is located on Level 2 of the Grand Canal Shoppes on The Palazzo side of The Venetian Resort. From Encore, expect roughly a 10–15 minute walk to the Palazzo portion of the resort in favorable conditions and allow approximately 15–20 minutes from the hotel room to the poker-room entrance once interior walking, elevators and resort wayfinding are considered. For most players this is a realistic walking trip, although rideshare may be preferable in extreme summer heat, with luggage, or after an especially long session.

This two-room access is an important advantage for multi-day poker trips. A player can make Wynn the primary room while still reaching Venetian cash games or DeepStack events without changing hotels. Encore therefore makes particular sense for trips involving tournament schedules at both properties.

Food access is strong for long poker days. Wynn and Encore have numerous restaurants and quick-service options, Caffè Al Teatro operates around the clock, Encore's Lobby Bar offers overnight food service, and 24-hour in-room dining provides another option after a late session. Espresso near Encore registration is useful for coffee, breakfast and grab-and-go food earlier in the day.

Registered Wynn and Encore Resort and Tower Suite guests receive complimentary self-parking, subject to availability. Players who are not staying at the resort should note that Wynn separately charges for general public parking, although Wynn Poker Room guests can receive complimentary same-day parking through the poker room under the property's current policy.

The primary drawback is cost. Encore is a premium Strip resort and will generally be considerably more expensive than value-oriented Las Vegas lodging, with a nightly resort fee in addition to the room rate. The Venetian remains walkable but is not as effortless as staying inside that resort, particularly during hot weather. For players who place a high value on large rooms, immediate Wynn Poker access and the ability to play at both Wynn and The Venetian from one upscale base, however, the location is exceptionally practical.
