Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas

palazzo where to stay.jpeg

Las Vegas, NV

Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas is an all-suite, casino-free and smoke-free hotel on the ARIA campus just west of the central Las Vegas Strip. The location gives guests a quieter lodging environment while keeping major gaming, dining and entertainment destinations close by, with ARIA only a short walkway away and Bellagio accessible through the adjoining pedestrian and tram network.

Accommodations begin with spacious studio-style suites, and many rooms include kitchenettes, living areas and dining space. Larger suites add separate bedrooms, full kitchens and additional living space, making Vdara particularly practical for longer Las Vegas stays. Property amenities include the Spa at Vdara, a fitness center, seasonal pool facilities, in-suite dining, Market Café Vdara, Starbucks and VICE VERSA Patio & Lounge. Guests also have easy access to the much larger dining and entertainment selection at neighboring ARIA.

For poker travelers, Vdara's central location is especially useful because ARIA and Bellagio both operate major poker rooms within practical walking distance, while Horseshoe Las Vegas is also reachable on foot for players willing to make a longer center-Strip walk. The combination of suite-style accommodations and separation from a casino floor can make Vdara a useful base for multi-day poker trips without isolating guests from the Strip's primary gaming resorts.

Why Players Like This Hotel

Vdara is a particularly practical Las Vegas hotel for players who expect to split their time between the ARIA and Bellagio poker rooms. ARIA is the easiest poker destination from the hotel. Vdara shares the ARIA campus and a short pedestrian route leads from the hotel toward ARIA; allowing for the walk through the resort to the poker room on the east side of the casino floor, about 5–10 minutes is a practical expectation. That makes Vdara convenient for early tournament starts, repeated trips back to the room during a multi-day series and late cash-game sessions without requiring a car or rideshare.

Bellagio is also a strong option from Vdara. A pedestrian connection leads from Vdara toward Bellagio, and the casino can generally be reached in roughly 5–10 minutes, with additional interior walking required to reach Bellagio's poker room next to the sportsbook. Players should plan on approximately 10–15 minutes from the Vdara lobby to the poker room depending on pace, crowds and the exact route. This remains practical for both tournament and cash-game play and gives Vdara an important advantage for players dividing their schedule between ARIA and Bellagio.

Horseshoe Las Vegas is a useful secondary poker destination. Property-to-property walking estimates are around 16 minutes, although reaching the Hall of Fame Poker Room can add interior walking time. It is reasonable for players comfortable walking the center Strip, while a short taxi or rideshare may be preferable in extreme heat, after a long session or when carrying tournament gear.

Vdara does not have its own casino or poker room. That is a benefit for players who want a quieter, smoke-free place to sleep between sessions, but it also means every poker session requires leaving the hotel. Food options inside Vdara are more limited than at a full casino resort, with Market Café, Starbucks, VICE VERSA and in-suite dining among the convenient choices. ARIA and Bellagio substantially expand the nearby dining selection.

Drivers should know that Vdara is a valet-only property. Self-parking is available nearby at ARIA, and MGM currently charges for both self-parking and valet, so parking costs should be considered when comparing room rates.

For multi-day poker trips, Vdara's larger-than-typical suite layouts and kitchenettes are meaningful advantages, particularly for players who want space to work, keep drinks or simple food in the room, or spend several days in Las Vegas. Its value depends heavily on the nightly rate and resort charges, but the location is especially compelling when a trip includes substantial play at both ARIA and Bellagio. Players whose schedule is concentrated primarily at Venetian or Wynn will generally find hotels farther north on the Strip more convenient.
