That changed over the course of one of poker's most important tournaments.

Aram Zobian's 2018 WSOP Main Event Breakthrough
The 2018 World Series of Poker Main Event established Zobian on the international tournament scene.
The $10,000 championship attracted 7,874 entries. Late in the tournament, Zobian emerged as one of the major contenders, finishing Day 6 as the overall chip leader with 41,585,000 chips and only 26 players remaining.
He eventually advanced to the nine-player final table alongside players including John Cynn, Joe Cada, Tony Miles and Michael Dyer.
Zobian entered the final table seventh in chips and survived to sixth place. His tournament ended when he moved all in with eight-six against Dyer's ace-eight and failed to improve.
The sixth-place finish paid $1.8 million, which remains Zobian's largest live tournament score according to The Hendon Mob.
The result represented an extraordinary jump in his career. Zobian entered the Main Event with roughly $110,000 in lifetime tournament earnings and left with a seven-figure score and recognition as a WSOP Main Event finalist.

He won his first bracelet during the 2023 WSOP Online International series in the $525 Superstack Turbo Bounty event. Zobian defeated a field of 2,516 entries and beat Nevan Chang heads-up.
His regular tournament prize was $50,393, and bounty prizes increased his total payout from the event to $109,622.
The victory gave Zobian a bracelet five years after his breakthrough appearance at the WSOP Main Event final table.
According to the WSOP's current player records, Zobian also has three WSOP Circuit rings.
⠀
Zobian's Success on the PokerGO Tour
Zobian has become a regular presence in PokerGO Tour events, where many tournaments feature five-figure buy-ins and fields filled with established professionals.
One of his first major PokerGO Tour victories came during the 2023 PokerGO Cup. Zobian won Event #2, a $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em tournament, for $207,500.
His strongest full-series performance followed at the 2024 U.S. Poker Open.
Zobian recorded four cashes during the eight-event festival:
Second place in Event #2 for $163,350
Third place in Event #4 for $107,900
First place in Event #6 for $264,290
Sixth place in Event #8 for $78,000
Those results produced $613,540 in series earnings and 616 leaderboard points.
Zobian finished 189 points ahead of runner-up Stephen Chidwick to become the 2024 U.S. Poker Open champion. The title earned him the Golden Eagle trophy and a $25,000 PokerGO Tour Passport.
The series championship was significant because it demonstrated that Zobian's career had developed well beyond his 2018 Main Event breakthrough. He was now producing repeated results against high-level competition across an entire high-stakes festival.

Another U.S. Poker Open Victory in 2026
Zobian continued producing major PokerGO Tour results in 2026.
At the U.S. Poker Open that April, he reached three consecutive final tables. He finished fourth in Event #7 for $70,000 and fifth in Event #8 for $68,625 before winning Event #9.
The $15,000 No-Limit Hold'em tournament attracted 61 entries and created a $915,000 prize pool.
Zobian entered the final day as chip leader and ultimately defeated Brandon Wilson heads-up to win $292,800.
The victory added another six-figure PokerGO Tour title to a résumé that already included his 2024 U.S. Poker Open series championship.
⠀
WPT Results and Other Major Final Tables
Zobian has also recorded significant results on the World Poker Tour, although he had not won a WPT Main Tour title as of September 2026.
One of his strongest WPT performances came at the 2025 Seminole Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open Championship. Zobian advanced to the televised-stage portion of the tournament and finished third for $295,000.
The World Poker Tour lists him with multiple Main Tour cashes spanning several seasons.
His broader tournament résumé also includes deep runs in major WSOP events. At the 2024 WSOP, Zobian finished fourth in the $10,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship for $282,302.
During the 2026 WSOP, he reached another final table by finishing eighth in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout for $54,926.
⠀
Aram Zobian's Live Tournament Earnings
As of October 19, 2026, The Hendon Mob lists Aram Zobian with $7,733,768 in live tournament earnings.
His largest recorded live cash remains the $1.8 million he earned for sixth place in the 2018 WSOP Main Event.
These are gross recorded live tournament cashes rather than profit or net worth, and are separate from his online results. Career earnings totals change whenever a player records another qualifying result, so Zobian's lifetime figure should be viewed as a snapshot rather than a permanent total.
His earnings history also illustrates how his career developed after the Main Event. The 2018 score remains his biggest single payday, but years of additional WSOP, WPT and PokerGO Tour results have added millions of dollars to his live record.
⠀
What Type of Poker Does Aram Zobian Play?
Zobian's major tournament record is concentrated heavily in no-limit Texas hold'em.
His deepest results have come across several different tournament environments, including the WSOP Main Event, online bracelet events, WSOP Circuit competition, WPT championships and high-stakes PokerGO Tour tournaments.
That range distinguishes him from a player whose résumé depends primarily on one breakthrough score. Although the 2018 Main Event remains his most famous result, Zobian has continued reaching major final tables and winning titles years later.
⠀
Aram Zobian's Recent Poker Results
Zobian remained active on the tournament circuit throughout 2026.
His April victory at the U.S. Poker Open was followed by a seventh-place finish in the PGT Texas Poker Open Main Event for $35,000.
During the summer in Las Vegas, he cashed multiple WSOP events and finished eighth in the $1,500 Freezeout. He also placed 14th in a $3,500 Wynn Summer Classic event for $31,869.
Zobian later traveled to EPT Barcelona. The Hendon Mob records a ninth-place finish in a €2,200 no-limit hold'em event on August 26, 2026, for approximately $8,637.
Those results show that Zobian remained an active live tournament professional through the latest available results rather than relying solely on accomplishments from earlier in his career.
⠀
Why Aram Zobian Matters in Tournament Poker
Zobian's career is notable because his 2018 Main Event run became a starting point rather than the defining endpoint of his résumé.
Reaching a WSOP Main Event final table can permanently establish a player's name, but repeating at the highest levels of tournament poker requires sustained results. Zobian subsequently won a WSOP bracelet, collected three Circuit rings, captured PokerGO Tour events and became the 2024 U.S. Poker Open champion.
His later performances have also included major final tables on the WPT and additional deep WSOP runs.
That combination gives Zobian a tournament record built around both a memorable Main Event breakthrough and continued success across several of poker's leading tours.
