Dick Son Looi is a Malaysian tournament poker player whose major results include two large-field Poker Dream victories at Resorts World Genting. He won the Malaysia Open at Poker Dream 20 in January 2026 and the Main Event at Poker Dream 26 in October, earning MYR278,800 and MYR685,000 respectively.
The titles came in different tournaments and separate editions of the series. Together, they form the clearest milestones in his documented tournament record.

Malaysia Open Breakthrough
Looi won the MYR1,000 Malaysia Open at Poker Dream 20, which ran from January 29–31, 2026. The tournament attracted 1,530 entries, with 199 paid finishing positions.
Somuchpoker’s event results record his MYR278,800 first prize. The result gave him a substantial title in a Malaysian field before his later Main Event success.

Poker Dream Main Event Champion
On October 19, 2026, Looi won Event 38 at Poker Dream 26 Malaysia. The Main Event drew 1,266 entries across ten starting flights and generated MYR4,640,116 in prize money.
The organizer’s results list Looi first for MYR685,000. That prize exceeded his earlier Malaysia Open award and added the festival’s Main Event championship to his record.
These results establish success in large-field no-limit hold’em tournaments. They do not, on their own, establish a particular playing style or professional occupation. The listed prizes are gross tournament cashes, not net profit or personal wealth.
