Hun Wei “Andy” Lee is an Australian tournament poker player and Pot-Limit Omaha specialist whose résumé includes a World Series of Poker bracelet, a WSOP Circuit ring and major titles at Crown Melbourne. He won the 2020 WSOP Online $1,050 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha event and added two prominent Australian victories in 2026: the Aussie Millions A$25,000 Challenge and the Victorian Poker Championship Main Event.

From Malaysia to Australian tournament poker
The Hendon Mob player database lists Lee as an Australian player who was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and resides in Sydney. He is commonly known as Andy Lee.
Lee’s recorded results date to 2009. His early résumé includes a six-handed title at the 2009 Victorian Poker Championship and multiple wins in Sydney before he began collecting larger scores on the international tournament circuit.

WSOP bracelet and Circuit ring
Lee came close to his first bracelet at the 2013 WSOP Asia-Pacific series, finishing second in the A$5,000 six-handed No-Limit Hold’em event. Four years later, he won the A$20,000 high roller at the 2017 WSOP International Circuit stop in Sydney for A$273,600 and a Circuit ring.
His bracelet arrived online in July 2020. Lee defeated a 971-entry field in the WSOP Online $1,050 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha event on GGPoker. PokerNews recorded his combined prize and bounty payout at $161,886.
That result matched Lee’s reputation as a strong PLO player while also giving him the biggest title available on the WSOP schedule.

Major Australian victories in 2026
Lee opened a new career peak at the 2026 Aussie Millions at Crown Melbourne. He won the A$25,000 No-Limit Hold’em Challenge after defeating a 98-entry field and Josh Hutchins heads-up. PokerNews reported the A$652,670 prize as the largest live cash of Lee’s career at the time.
In October, Lee returned to Crown Melbourne and won the A$2,500 Victorian Poker Championship Main Event. The tournament drew 715 entries and generated an A$1,573,000 prize pool. Lee defeated Joe Hachem heads-up for the A$350,000 first prize.
The two victories demonstrate Lee’s range across high-buy-in fields and a large-field state championship. They also add to a career that includes titles in both No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha.
⠀
Career record and current standing
Lee has one WSOP bracelet and one WSOP Circuit ring. His other notable results include second place in the 2020 Aussie Millions A$25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event and a 2017 Circuit high-roller victory in Sydney.
Tournament earnings databases measure gross cashes rather than profit or personal wealth. CardPlayer’s player record lists more than $2 million in recorded earnings and identifies Lee’s nickname as Andy. Those totals can change as new results are added.
Lee remained active through the 2026 season, cashing at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas before returning to Australia for his Victorian Poker Championship title.
