WPT Prime Cyprus title

The World Poker Tour’s official reporting confirms Kolev’s victory in a field of 953 entries. The winner’s award included a $10,400 entry to the season-ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. That seat was part of the $171,600 total, not an additional prize.

Kolev reached the final eight with 4,525,000 chips, according to the tour’s final-table report. By the start of heads-up play, he held 32,950,000 of the 38,125,000 chips in play. A seven-high straight on the final hand secured the championship.

The achievement is a WPT Prime title. It should not be conflated with a WPT Main Tour championship or a World Series of Poker bracelet.

Tournament results beyond Cyprus

CardPlayer’s results archive identifies Kolev’s country of origin as Bulgaria and records several cashes at the 2026 WSOP International Circuit stop in Malta. Those include fifth place in a mystery bounty event for a listed $5,950 and 22nd place in the €1,500 no-limit hold’em event for a listed $8,098.
