Malaysian APT PLO champion and TMT Mini Main runner-up
POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014
Kok Wei Teoh is a Malaysian poker player with substantial tournament results in both pot-limit Omaha and no-limit hold’em. His record includes victory in the 2025 APT Championship PLO Championship and a runner-up finish in the 2026 TMT Championship Mini Main.
Those results came in different games and separate Taipei festivals. They should not be combined into a single series achievement.
⠀
APT Championship PLO Title
Teoh won the TWD 100,000 PLO Championship at the 2025 APT Championship in Taipei. The Asian Poker Tour’s official final report records 88 entries, a TWD 7,603,200 prize pool and TWD 1,995,700 for the champion.
He recovered from a short stack near the money and later overcame a chip deficit in the final match. The victory earned him an APT Championship title and the event’s Pewter Lion trophy.
Pot-limit Omaha differs from hold’em: players receive four hole cards and must use exactly two with three community cards. Success in that format does not establish a complete description of a player’s approach in other games.

A Hold’em Final in 2026
At the 2026 TMT Championship, Teoh finished second in the TWD 15,000 Mini Main. CTP Club’s official payout record lists TWD 820,000 for his October 21 result.
The finish provides a hold’em counterpart to his APT Omaha victory. Both are documented results, rather than evidence for an unsupported label about his playing style.

Reading Tournament Records
Prize figures are stated in their original New Taiwan dollar currency to avoid treating approximate conversions as exact cash amounts.
Tournament cashes are gross returns. They do not reveal a player’s total buy-ins, expenses, profitability or net worth.
