Nick Seward: WSOP Bracelet Winner and WPT Champion
POKER HALL OF FAME
Inducted 2014
Nick Seward has emerged as one of the notable young American tournament players of the 2020s, building a résumé that already includes a World Series of Poker bracelet and a World Poker Tour title. His rise has been especially rapid: his recorded live tournament career began in 2022, and within four years he had won championship events on two of poker's biggest tours.
Seward's breakthrough came at the 2024 WSOP, where he won the $3,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event for $516,135. He added his first WPT title in February 2026 by winning the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Spring Championship for $418,700.
As checked on October 19, 2026, the Hendon Mob credits Seward with more than $4.6 million in recorded live tournament earnings and a career-best cash of $516,135.

Who Is Nick Seward?
Nicholas "Nick" Seward is an American professional poker player whose tournament record is centered primarily on no-limit hold'em. Hendon Mob lists his nationality as United States and his residence as Washington, D.C.
His recorded live results date to October 2022, when he won a $400 no-limit hold'em tournament at The Venetian in Las Vegas for $27,000. That early victory was followed by a steady series of tournament cashes before Seward made a much larger breakthrough during the 2023 Las Vegas summer.
In June 2023, Seward finished fourth in a $3,500 no-limit hold'em event at the Wynn Summer Classic for $320,631. At the time, it was by far the largest score of his career and established him as a player capable of making deep runs in large, competitive tournament fields.

2024 WSOP Bracelet Victory
Seward's defining early-career result came at the 2024 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
He entered Event #31, the $3,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em tournament, alongside 1,229 other entries. The field generated a $3,284,100 prize pool, and Seward ultimately defeated Konstantyn Holskyi heads-up to win his first WSOP bracelet and $516,135.
The victory replaced his 2023 Wynn score as his largest career cash and gave him a major championship less than two years after his first recorded live result.
The World Series of Poker player database lists Seward with one bracelet and zero WSOP Circuit rings as of September 2026.
Winning a six-handed event also required Seward to navigate a format that generally creates more frequent decisions and wider playing ranges than a traditional full-ring tournament. His victory came against a field that included established tournament professionals and marked his arrival on the broader WSOP stage.
⠀
Back-to-Back Wins at the 2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open
Seward continued winning after the WSOP rather than relying on one breakthrough result.
In August 2024, he captured a $1,100 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold'em event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open. Seward and David Jackson reached a heads-up deal, with Seward holding the chip lead and receiving the title, trophy and $39,000.
He then entered the $2,200 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold'em event and won again, defeating Meir Meystel heads-up for $91,500.
Seminole Hard Rock reported that Seward became the first player in the series' history to win those $1,100 and $2,200 events back-to-back. The two victories strengthened a 2024 season that had already included his first WSOP bracelet.

Nick Seward Wins His First WPT Title
Seward reached another major career milestone on February 24, 2026, when he won the $5,000 WPT Venetian Las Vegas Spring Championship.
The tournament attracted 488 entries and created a $2,244,800 prize pool. Seward defeated Gregory Brown heads-up to claim the championship and $418,700. The first-place package included a $10,400 entry into the season-ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
The victory made Seward a member of the WPT Champions Club and added his name to the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup. The World Poker Tour lists him with one WPT title.
Seward's victory came at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, a major stop on the Las Vegas tournament calendar. Readers planning to play at the property can find room information in the Angry Aces Poker Venetian Poker Room Guide.
The final table also included established professionals such as Anthony Zinno, who finished fifth, while Nick Schulman finished seventh.

Nick Seward's Live Tournament Earnings
Seward's tournament earnings have risen quickly since his first recorded cash in 2022.
As checked on October 19, 2026, Hendon Mob lists:
Total live earnings: more than $4.6 million
Best live cash: $516,135
Best live cash event: 2024 WSOP $3,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em
Live tournament databases can update at different times as new results are processed, so career totals and rankings should be treated as changing statistics rather than permanent figures. These totals represent gross cashes before buy-ins, expenses and taxes, not profit.
Seward's earnings have not come from a single championship alone. His record includes significant scores at the WSOP, WPT, Wynn events, Seminole Hard Rock series, PokerGO Tour events and European Poker Tour festivals.
⠀
Recent Results and 2026 Activity
Seward remained highly active throughout 2026 after winning his first WPT title.
During the first half of the year, he recorded several PokerGO Tour cashes, including fourth-place finishes in two $10,100 PokerGO Cup events and a fifth-place finish in a U.S. Poker Open high roller.
He also cashed repeatedly during the 2026 WSOP. Among his stronger series results was a 17th-place finish in a $1,500 pot-limit Omaha event for $19,770, along with cashes in several no-limit hold'em bracelet events.
Seward then traveled to Europe and reached two significant final tables at EPT Barcelona in August 2026. Hendon Mob records a runner-up finish in a €10,200 no-limit hold'em event for €73,700, followed two days later by fifth place in a €25,000 no-limit hold'em event for €84,300.
Those results demonstrate that Seward remained an active tournament professional after his WPT championship, competing in both large-field events and high-stakes tournaments in the United States and Europe.
⠀
Nick Seward's Playing Profile
Seward's results identify him primarily as a no-limit hold'em tournament player.
His career includes success across a wide range of tournament sizes and buy-ins. He began with lower- and mid-stakes events, moved into major Las Vegas series, won a six-handed WSOP bracelet event and later captured a WPT Main Tour championship. He has also become a regular presence in five-figure high rollers.
That progression is significant because the formats demand different skills. Large-field tournaments reward the ability to survive long structures and adjust as tables change, while high rollers typically involve smaller fields with a greater concentration of experienced professionals.
Seward's results also include pot-limit Omaha cashes, but no-limit hold'em remains the discipline most closely associated with his major victories.
⠀
Why Nick Seward Matters in Poker
Seward's significance comes from the speed and consistency of his rise.
His first recorded Hendon Mob cash came in 2022. By 2023 he had produced a $320,631 final-table score. In 2024 he won a WSOP bracelet and then captured consecutive Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open events. By February 2026, he had added a WPT championship.
Winning both a WSOP bracelet and a WPT Main Tour title places Seward among a relatively select group of tournament players who have championship victories on two of poker's most recognizable tours.
His career remains active, which means his earnings totals, title count and tournament record can continue to change. As of September 2026, however, his résumé already includes major victories in Las Vegas, more than $4.5 million in recorded live earnings and repeated results against high-level tournament competition.
⠀
Nick Seward's Current Status
Nick Seward remains an active professional tournament player.
His 2026 schedule included the PokerGO Tour, World Poker Tour, World Series of Poker, Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open and European Poker Tour. His February WPT championship and August EPT Barcelona final tables were among the strongest results of his season.
With one WSOP bracelet, one WPT title and a growing record of high-stakes results, Seward has moved beyond the status of a single-event breakout winner. His results since 2022 show a sustained progression from smaller tournaments into major championship and high-roller competition.
