Keith Lehr Wins Poker Masters Event 8 for $277,200
Keith Lehr won $277,200 in Poker Masters Event 8 on October 21, 2026, defeating Vitalijs Zavorotnijs heads-up at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. The $15,700 no-limit hold’em tournament attracted 56 entries and paid eight places from an $840,000 prize pool.
The result gave Lehr his first PokerGO Tour title, according to the official PGT results. It also added a hold’em victory to a Poker Masters record that already included a major Omaha win eight years earlier.

A river full house settles the title
Zavorotnijs earned $176,400 as runner-up after coming within one place of his second win of the series. The decisive hand turned on a clash between a made straight and two pair.
PokerNews’s live reporting recorded Lehr holding king-queen against ace-jack. A queen-ten-five flop gave Lehr top pair; the king on the turn improved him to two pair while completing Zavorotnijs’s Broadway straight. The chips went in on the turn. Another queen arrived on the river, giving Lehr a full house and ending the tournament.
Earlier in the heads-up match, Lehr had doubled with pocket kings against pocket fours. That recovery set up the final confrontation rather than a straightforward finish for either player.
The five players who returned for the final day
1st — Keith Lehr: $277,200
2nd — Vitalijs Zavorotnijs: $176,400
3rd — Justin Vaysman: $117,600
4th — Nick Seward: $84,000
5th — Sam Soverel: $67,200
An earlier Poker Masters win, and two events still to come
Lehr’s earlier Poker Masters title came in the $25,000 pot-limit Omaha event in 2018, when he earned $333,000. PokerGO’s contemporary account confirms that result. His new PGT milestone therefore marks a different achievement from winning at Poker Masters for the first time.
After Event 8, Adrian Mateos remained the series leader with 451 points. Zavorotnijs stood third with 365, Vaysman fifth with 325 and Lehr eighth with 265 in PGT’s post-event standings.
The official schedule lists the $26,000 Event 9 beginning October 21 and the $51,000 championship beginning October 22. The series concludes October 23. Poker Masters is held in the PokerGO Studio; readers planning a visit to the host property can also consult the ARIA poker room guide.
