KPC Main Event victory
Huang entered the final table with the chip lead and converted that advantage into the title. He defeated Hongjun Zhao heads-up, with Zhao receiving KRW 120,000,000 for second place. The completed KPC tournament report and SoMuchPoker's event recap list a KRW 1,300,000 buy-in, a 1,082-entry field and a KRW 1,215,303,000 prize pool.
In the final hand, Huang held king-queen against Zhao's ace-king. A queen on the river gave Huang the winning pair. The victory also came on Huang's birthday, a detail reported in both the KPC coverage and SpadePoker's independent recap.

Earlier KPC results
Huang had played KPC events before the October championship. SoMuchPoker's player profile records a 62nd-place finish in the July 2026 KPC Main Event, which drew 1,692 entries.
The October result is a tournament payout, not a measure of net poker profit or personal wealth. It establishes a major live title in Huang's documented regional record without assigning an unsupported playing-style label.
