WPT Prime Cyprus runner-up finish
The World Poker Tour’s final-table report records Tahar entering the last eight with 12,000,000 chips, or 80 big blinds. The $1,100 no-limit hold’em championship drew 953 entries at Chamada Prestige Hotel & Spa.
He advanced to heads-up play and finished runner-up on October 19, 2026. The official tournament updates confirm his $100,000 award. The $10,400 WPT World Championship seat included in the first-place prize belonged to the winner, not the runner-up.

Results in Cyprus and Las Vegas
CardPlayer’s player record identifies Tahar’s country of origin as France. It lists 30th place for $15,000 in the separate $3,500 WPT Cyprus Championship in August 2026. That Main Tour result and his October WPT Prime runner-up finish are different events.
His Las Vegas record includes 43rd place for $40,000 in the $1,500 Monster Stack at the 2026 World Series of Poker. The WSOP’s player archive also records his participation in that event and other WSOP competitions.
