Inducted 2014

Xu Wang is a Chinese poker player whose live tournament record includes results at Triton Poker, Red Dragon Poker Tour and Jeju Poker Festival events. His résumé features high-stakes final tables and repeated cashes at LES A Casino in Jeju.

⠀

Breakthrough Results in Jeju

Wang’s tournament record began to build during Red Dragon Poker Tour events in Jeju. In August 2024, he cashed in the Red Dragon Championship before returning for a much stronger run in 2025.

At the July 2025 Red Dragon Championship, Wang finished fifth for KRW 80,800,000. Two months later, he reached the money in a $30,000 No-Limit Hold’em event at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju.

Wang finished 13th in that Triton event for $89,500, which remains his largest listed tournament cash.

Jeju Poker Festival Results

Wang added two more notable finishes at the 2025 Jeju Poker Festival. He placed third in the KRW 2,500,000 Dragon Egg Mystery Bounty for KRW 73,410,000 and later won a KRW 500,000 Monster Stack Super Hyper Turbo.

The mystery-bounty result demonstrated Wang’s ability to advance deep in larger championship-style fields. The Monster Stack victory added a recorded festival title to his résumé.

Red Dragon Plus Jeju in 2026

Wang remained active throughout the 2026 Red Dragon Plus Jeju series. He finished fifth in the USDT 8,000 Super U Challenge for $46,100 and reached 11th place in the Red Dragon Plus Championship for KRW 31,550,000.

His other 2026 Jeju results included a fifth-place finish in a short-deck event and another cash in the Red Dragon Prestige High Roller.

These performances established a consistent run across no-limit hold’em, short deck and high-roller formats.

⠀

Runner-Up in the KPC High Roller

Wang reached another major final table at the Jeju Poker Festival in October 2026. The KRW 5,000,000 KPC High Roller drew 50 unique players and 17 re-entries for a KRW 289,440,000 prize pool.

He advanced to heads-up play against Qinxue Jiang with 2.65 million chips to Jiang’s 7.4 million. On the final hand, Wang’s ace-ten stayed ahead until Jiang’s king-queen paired a king on the river.

Wang earned KRW 54,200,000 for second place. The result added another high-stakes Jeju final table to a record that already included deep finishes in Triton and Red Dragon events.

⠀

Current Poker Career

Wang’s tournament record is concentrated heavily in Jeju, where he has produced results across several tours and buy-in levels. His largest listed cash came in Triton competition, while his Red Dragon and Jeju Poker Festival results show repeated success in multi-day events.

Tournament prizes are gross awards and do not establish net profit or personal wealth. Public earnings totals also change as additional tournament results are recorded.
