Qinxue Jiang Wins KPC High Roller for KRW 85.24 Million
Qinxue Jiang won the 2026 Jeju Poker Festival KPC High Roller at LES A Casino in Jeju, South Korea, earning KRW 85,240,000 after defeating Xu Wang heads-up. The two-day KRW 5,000,000 event drew 67 entries and generated a KRW 289,440,000 prize pool, according to the Red Dragon Poker Tour recap.
Jiang Claims His First High Roller Title
The tournament ran October 29–30 with 50 unique players and 17 re-entries. Eleven places were paid. Jiang’s victory delivered his first High Roller title and the largest documented cash of his tournament career.
The field combined Jeju regulars with experienced international tournament players. Jiang advanced through the final table before taking a commanding lead into the last match.
A Short Stack Turns Into the Lead
Jiang was down to 11 big blinds before a late double-up restored his stack. He then eliminated Joseph Cheong in fourth place and moved ahead before heads-up play began.
Jiang started heads-up with 7.4 million chips against Xu Wang and 2.65 million. On the final hand, Wang’s ace-ten remained ahead until Jiang’s king-queen paired a king on the river. Wang received KRW 54,200,000 for second place.
A Second Jeju Title in Two Months
Jiang, who is from Shanghai, told event reporters that he began playing poker during the pandemic while studying in the United Kingdom. He later moved from cash games into tournaments and credited a mentor with helping his development.
The KPC result followed Jiang’s first Asian Poker Tour title in September 2026. He won a 46-entry Hyper Turbo High Roller at APT Jeju for KRW 21,175,600, giving him two Jeju tournament titles in less than two months.
Jeju Poker Festival Continues
The Jeju Poker Festival continues at LES A Casino through November 11. The KPC Main Event was underway when the High Roller concluded, with additional festival results still to be decided.
