Bally’s Black Hawk Poker Room Guide

Bally’s Black Hawk operates one of the principal live poker rooms in Colorado’s Black Hawk casino district. The room is located inside Bally’s Black Hawk West at 261 Main Street and currently has 17 regular poker tables, with an additional five-table overflow room available during larger tournaments.

The room supports both cash-game and tournament players. Bally’s advertises tournaments every day, while larger series periodically expand the schedule and can replace normally scheduled daily events.

Where Is the Bally’s Black Hawk Poker Room?

The poker room is inside Bally’s Black Hawk West at 261 Main Street in Black Hawk, Colorado. Bally’s Black Hawk West is the property formerly known as Golden Gates Casino.

Bally’s operates three nearby Black Hawk casino buildings: West, North and East. The poker room is specifically associated with the West property, so players arriving for poker should use the West location rather than relying only on the general Bally’s Black Hawk address at 300 Main Street.

The official poker page is available at Bally’s Black Hawk Poker.

⠀

Poker Room Size and Layout

Bally’s lists 17 regular poker tables in the main room. During tournaments, a separate five-table overflow room increases available capacity.

The room is designed for regular cash-game traffic as well as daily tournaments and larger multi-event series. Television screens are positioned around the poker area, and Bally’s uses the room for both recurring tournament schedules and special poker events.

⠀

Cash Games at Bally’s Black Hawk

Bally’s confirms that live-action cash poker is available. The casino does not currently publish a complete permanent cash-game stakes list on its official poker page.

PokerAtlas lists no-limit Texas Hold’em, limit Hold’em, pot-limit Omaha and split-pot games among the room’s cash offerings. Game availability depends on player demand, however, so anyone traveling specifically for a particular format or stake should verify the current lineup before making the trip.

Players can review the room’s current third-party listing at Bally’s Black Hawk on PokerAtlas.

Tournaments at Bally’s Black Hawk

Tournament poker is a significant part of the Bally’s Black Hawk schedule. Bally’s advertises daily tournaments as well as larger recurring series, including Colorado Poker Championship events and stops from the Mid-States Poker Tour.

Special events can replace the normal daily tournament schedule, making the official poker page the best place to check before visiting.

Bally’s states that registration for a one-day tournament opens one hour before the scheduled start time. Registration for multi-day events opens two hours before the start. Multi-table tournaments use a big blind ante unless a specific event is listed otherwise.

Because tournament schedules, buy-ins and structures change, players should check the official Bally’s Black Hawk poker page for the latest calendar and event details rather than relying on an older schedule.

⠀

Registration and Waiting Lists

For tournaments, Bally’s publishes clear registration windows: one hour before one-day events and two hours before multi-day events.

Bally’s does not publish a detailed cash-game waiting-list procedure on its website. PokerAtlas lists a phone-in list as one of the room’s features. Players who want to confirm a seat, active cash games or the current waiting-list procedure can contact the Poker Parlour at 303-582-2600 ext. 3519.

Players participating in Bally’s poker promotions generally need a Bally Rewards card. A Bally Rewards account can be opened at a Guest Services Center with valid government-issued photo identification.

⠀

Hours

Bally’s does not currently publish separate poker-room hours on its poker page.

The official Bally’s Black Hawk contact page lists Black Hawk West as operating Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 AM, then opening Thursday at 8:00 AM and remaining open until 2:00 AM Tuesday.

Because poker staffing, cash-game availability and tournament schedules may not exactly match the building’s operating hours, players planning an early-morning or late-night session should contact the room first.

⠀

Parking

Bally Rewards currently lists free self-parking as a benefit for all published membership tiers.

PokerAtlas also lists valet parking among the property’s features. Valet operations can change independently of casino hours, so players who specifically need valet service should confirm availability before arriving.

⠀

Dining and Amenities

Bally’s Black Hawk operates several food and beverage options across its Black Hawk properties.

Casino Café & Grille is located on the third floor of Bally’s Black Hawk North and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. B Bar is on the second floor of the North property near Guest Services and live table games.

Other Bally’s dining choices include Double Down Bistro, Full House Grill and East Bar & Bites. Restaurant hours vary and may not match poker-room hours.

Poker players can earn Bally Rewards benefits while playing. Bally’s currently advertises poker-specific rewards and promotional programs, although promotions can be changed or discontinued at the casino’s discretion.

⠀

Hotels and Lodging Near Bally’s Black Hawk

Bally’s Black Hawk is presented by Bally’s as a casino complex rather than an on-site hotel resort.

Players staying overnight can find casino hotels elsewhere in Black Hawk, including Ameristar Black Hawk, Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk and Horseshoe Black Hawk. Hotel rates, parking arrangements and walking or transportation conditions should be checked directly with the individual property before booking.

For lodging information, see Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk and Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk.
