Grand Victoria Casino Poker Room Guide

Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin, Illinois, operates a dedicated World Series of Poker-branded poker room serving the Chicago-area live poker market. The room is part of Grand Victoria Casino, a Caesars Entertainment property located at 250 S. Grove Avenue near the Fox River in downtown Elgin.

The room is a practical option for players looking for live cash games west of Chicago, and it also hosts tournament poker, including a scheduled WSOP Circuit stop. Because cash-game lineups, promotions, tournament offerings, and hours can change, players should confirm current details with the poker room or its live listings before making the trip.

⠀

Grand Victoria Casino Poker Room Overview

Grand Victoria Casino’s official poker page describes the room as a World Series of Poker Room with 20 tables, daily poker promotions, and poker tournaments. The Illinois Casino Gaming Association also identifies Grand Victoria as having a World Series of Poker room with 20 live-action tables.

PokerAtlas lists the room as Grand Victoria Casino and shows 20 poker tables, a minimum age of 21, and current room hours. Its room profile also lists player-facing amenities such as food tableside, phone-in list, cash games, free parking, self-serve drink station, jackpots, televisions, cocktail service, USB chargers, comps, nearby restrooms, valet parking, Wi-Fi, and non-smoking.

⠀

Location and Address

Grand Victoria Casino is located at 250 S. Grove Avenue in Elgin, Illinois. The property sits in downtown Elgin near the Fox River and Festival Park, making it more of a suburban Chicago poker destination than a resort-style casino stop.

For players driving from the Chicago area, the room is generally approached as a west-suburban poker option rather than a downtown Chicago destination. Traffic can vary significantly by time of day, so players coming for a tournament should allow extra travel time, especially during commuter periods or downtown Elgin events.

⠀

Cash Games

PokerAtlas lists the following cash-game offerings for Grand Victoria Casino:

• $1/$3 No-Limit Hold’em

• $2/$5 No-Limit Hold’em

• $2/$5/$10 No-Limit Hold’em

• $1/$2 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

• $1/$2 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi

• $5/$10 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi

PokerAtlas marks some of those games as always running and others as occasional, so the actual lineup can depend on the day, time, player pool, and special events. The best approach is to check the PokerAtlas listing or call the room before traveling if you are looking for a specific game, stake, or variant.

⠀

Tournaments and WSOP Circuit Events

Grand Victoria offers poker tournaments, and the property is listed on the official WSOP schedule as the host of WSOP Circuit - Grand Victoria from November 5–16, 2026.

The official WSOP page lists the 2026 Grand Victoria stop with multiple No-Limit Hold’em events, Pot-Limit Omaha events, Big O, seniors, ladies, and a $1,700 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event with a $600,000 guarantee. Players should use the official WSOP schedule for the full event list, structure information, and any updates before registering.

For regular weekly tournaments, Grand Victoria’s official poker page says the room offers poker tournaments, while PokerAtlas provides current visitor-facing room information. Tournament days, buy-ins, formats, registration rules, and guarantees should be verified directly with the room or current listings.

⠀

Registration, Waitlists, and Player Accounts

PokerAtlas lists phone-in list as one of the room features, which can be useful for cash-game players trying to reduce wait time. Players should confirm the current list procedure with the poker room before relying on it, especially during high-traffic periods or tournament series.

Grand Victoria is part of the Caesars Rewards ecosystem. PokerAtlas lists Caesars Rewards as the rewards program for the room, and the official Grand Victoria site promotes Caesars Rewards across the property. Players who already use Caesars Rewards should bring their card or be prepared to sign up on property.

Tournament registration procedures can vary by event. For WSOP Circuit events, players should review the official WSOP schedule and any posted registration instructions before arriving.

⠀

Parking and Access

PokerAtlas lists free parking and valet parking among Grand Victoria poker room features. The City of Elgin also states that city-owned downtown surface lots and parking decks offer free parking for up to 72 hours, subject to posted restrictions.

Players should still follow current casino signage and city parking rules. Parking procedures can change for holidays, concerts, riverfront events, or other downtown Elgin activities. For major tournament series, arriving early is recommended because parking, registration, and seating demand can increase quickly.

⠀

Room Location Inside the Property

Grand Victoria’s official site identifies the poker venue as the World Series of Poker Room at Grand Victoria Casino. A precise current wayfinding description, such as a floor, entrance, or nearby landmark inside the casino, could not be verified from official sources.

Players visiting for the first time should use casino signage after entering the property or ask security, Caesars Rewards staff, or casino personnel for directions to the WSOP Poker Room.

⠀

Dining and Amenities

Grand Victoria offers on-property dining, including casual and restaurant options listed through the official property website. PokerAtlas also lists food tableside, order food at table, cocktail service, a self-serve drink station, nearby restrooms, USB chargers, televisions, and Wi-Fi among the poker room features.

The room is better approached as a casino poker stop with convenient food and beverage access than as a full hotel-resort destination. Players planning long cash-game sessions or multi-day tournaments should check current restaurant hours in advance, especially late at night.

⠀

Hotel and Lodging Context

Grand Victoria Casino does not have a confirmed Angry Aces Where to Stay page relationship in the current approved Where to Stay map. No existing Angry Aces hotel page was confirmed as a direct lodging record for this poker room.

Players traveling from outside the Chicago area should compare nearby Elgin hotels, downtown Elgin access, parking, and travel time to the casino. For tournament series, staying close to the casino can be helpful, but players should confirm transportation options before booking.
