Talking Stick Casino Poker Room Guide

The Arena Poker Room at Talking Stick Resort is a major Scottsdale poker destination with 24/7 play, a large tournament calendar, and one of the largest live poker setups in Arizona. Located at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, the room serves local Phoenix-area players, visiting tournament players, and travelers staying at the resort.

⠀

Talking Stick Casino Poker Room Overview

Talking Stick Resort lists The Arena Poker Room as a 24/7 poker room with 69 tables on its official poker page. The property promotes the room as Arizona’s largest poker room and highlights a combination of cash games, tournaments, promotions, sports-viewing walls, and a dedicated poker-room kitchen.

Players should note one current detail before publishing or updating this guide: the official poker room page lists 69 tables, while the main Talking Stick Resort homepage references 68 tables. Because poker room layouts can change, the table-count CMS field should be verified directly with the property whenever exact room inventory matters.

The poker room is part of Talking Stick Resort, located at 9800 E Talking Stick Way in Scottsdale, Arizona. PokerAtlas lists the poker room at 9700 East Indian Bend Road, which appears to be an alternate mapping address for the property. For resort navigation, the official resort address should be used.

⠀

Location and Access

Talking Stick Resort sits near Loop 101 in Scottsdale, making it accessible from Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, and other East Valley locations. The resort’s official directions page routes drivers through the Talking Stick Way / Indian Bend Road exit from Loop 101.

For most poker players, the practical approach is to use the resort address and follow signs for casino parking or valet. Event nights, concerts, holiday weekends, and major poker series can affect traffic around the property, so players traveling for tournaments should allow extra arrival time.

⠀

Cash Games

Talking Stick’s official poker page confirms 24/7 poker and directs players to Bravo Poker for game information. PokerAtlas lists The Arena Poker Room with cash games, phone-in list availability, food tableside, auto shufflers, jackpots, televisions, cocktail service, USB chargers, nearby restrooms, and a non-smoking room.

PokerAtlas currently lists common cash-game options including:

• $1/$2 No-Limit Hold’em

• $2/$3 No-Limit Hold’em

• $3/$5 No-Limit Hold’em

• $5/$10 No-Limit Hold’em during busier hours

• $10/$20 No-Limit Hold’em occasionally

• $3/$6 Limit Hold’em

• $4/$8 Limit Hold’em

• $8/$16 Limit Hold’em

• Larger limit and mixed games when available

Cash-game availability changes throughout the day. Players should use Bravo or PokerAtlas, or call the poker room directly, before making a trip for a specific game or limit.

⠀

Tournaments

The Arena Poker Room has an active tournament schedule. The official poker page states that the room hosts more than 600 tournaments per year, and the official tournament page lists weekday, weekend, monthly, and featured events.

Current recurring events shown on the official tournament page include weekday morning No-Limit Hold’em tournaments, Saturday Super Stack events, evening No-Limit Hold’em tournaments, 5-Card Pot-Limit Omaha, Crazy Pineapple, and progressive bounty tournaments. The property notes that weekly tournaments may not run during larger events, so players should check the calendar or call the poker room before arriving.

Talking Stick Resort has also announced that The Arena Poker Room will host its first official World Series of Poker Circuit series from November 5–16, 2026. Full event details were not yet posted on the official poker room page at the time this guide was prepared.

⠀

Registration and Waiting Lists

The official poker page directs players to Bravo Poker for tournament pre-registration and game information. PokerAtlas also lists phone-in list availability.

For tournament play, players should confirm the current registration process, start times, late-registration windows, re-entry rules, and payout procedures directly through the official tournament page, Bravo, or the poker room. For cash games, players should check the current live list or call the room before arriving, especially during peak evening hours or tournament series.

⠀

Poker Room Features and Player Experience

The Arena Poker Room is built around a high-volume poker schedule rather than a small boutique room model. The official poker room page highlights more than 300 feet of LED video walls for sports viewing and a dedicated 24/7 poker-room kitchen.

PokerAtlas lists several practical player features, including auto shufflers, food tableside, self-serve drink station, jackpots, televisions, cocktail service, massage, USB chargers, comps offered, nearby restrooms, valet parking, non-smoking room, Wi-Fi, and order-at-table food service.

Players should treat promotional payouts, jackpot amounts, and comp rates as changeable. The official poker room page specifically says jackpot information is subject to change and tells players to contact The Arena Poker Room for real-time updates.

⠀

Parking

PokerAtlas lists free parking as a room feature, and the property’s Salt River Rewards benefits page references complimentary valet parking as a program benefit. The official resort website also includes location and directions information for drivers arriving from Phoenix, the East Valley, the Northwest Valley, the Southwest Valley, North Phoenix, Northern Arizona, Sky Harbor International Airport, and Casino Arizona.

For day-to-day poker play, players should expect resort casino parking rather than street parking. For major tournaments or events, calling the room or resort before arrival is the safest way to confirm the best entrance, garage, valet availability, and any temporary event restrictions.

⠀

Dining and Amenities

Talking Stick Resort gives poker players more dining access than a standalone card room. The official poker page highlights a dedicated 24/7 poker-room kitchen and links to poker-room menus. The broader resort also lists dining venues including Orange Sky and Tash.

Poker players planning longer sessions should check the current poker menu, late-night food options, and table-service availability. Dining hours can change independently from poker-room hours, especially around holidays or special events.

⠀

Hotel and Lodging Context

Talking Stick Resort is itself a hotel and casino resort, so the most practical lodging option for out-of-town poker players is staying on property when rooms are available and rates make sense. The resort website includes hotel booking and room information.

No existing Angry Aces Where to Stay page is currently confirmed for Talking Stick Resort or nearby Scottsdale hotels in the approved Where to Stay URL map reviewed for this package. For CMS relationship purposes, do not attach any Where to Stay record unless a future approved Angry Aces hotel page is created or supplied by the publisher.
