Mystery bounty tournaments are joining the BetRivers Poker lineup.

BetRivers Poker is adding mystery bounty tournaments for players in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware and West Virginia, according to Pokerfuse and PokerNews. The format brings a new knockout-prize option to the operator's regulated online poker rooms in those four states.

Players do not know a bounty's value until they eliminate an opponent during the bounty phase. Both reports say the phase begins after the tournament reaches the money, with each prize revealed on screen after the knockout. The operator is offering the format at multiple buy-in levels, the reports say.

What changes for players

The launch adds a different choice from BetRivers' existing progressive knockout events: a knockout can reveal a prize of an unknown value rather than a fixed or growing amount shown in advance. Pokerfuse reports that the tournament interface also displays remaining bounty prizes and identifies all-in players who can be eliminated for a bounty.

The two reports disagree in their wording of the launch date. Pokerfuse identifies Tuesday, October 27; PokerNews labels the day Tuesday but gives October 26. The confirmed development is the four-state rollout, and players should check the current tournament lobby for available events and buy-ins.

Anniversary week overlap

The new format arrives during BetRivers Poker's second-anniversary promotions, which Pokerfuse says continue through November 1. Promotional ticket eligibility and event availability can vary, so the tournament lobby and current operator terms remain the practical sources for players choosing an event.
