Quoc Mai will take the chip lead into the televised World Poker Tour Bay 101 Shooting Star Championship final table. The tournament paused on October 26 with six players remaining from 584 entries at Bay 101 Casino in San Jose, California. The WPT's final-table update lists Mai at 10,165,000 chips, or 254 big blinds when play resumes.

Chahn Jung is second with 9,075,000 chips. The four other finalists are Ziao Guo, Shawn Daniels, Eric Zheng and William Davis; their seat assignments and full chip counts are in the official WPT update. No champion has been crowned.

A six-week wait for the title

The six players are scheduled to return on December 15 in Las Vegas during the WPT World Championship series. Play stopped after two consecutive hands each eliminated two players, reducing the field from ten to six. The postponed final table will determine the championship and final payouts.

The official payout schedule lists $470,500 for first place, including a $10,400 entry into the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. That amount is the scheduled first-place package, not a cash payout already collected. Each finalist has secured at least $94,000. The $5,300 buy-in event generated a $2,613,200 prize pool and paid 73 places.

The stop's bounty format and venue details are covered in our 2026 WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star guide. The WPT will resume its live reporting when the final table reconvenes.
