Kyle Grupp won the $1,700 World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, on October 26. He earned $246,362 and his first Circuit ring after outlasting 996 entries, according to the official WSOP result.

The victory closed the October 2026 Turning Stone Circuit festival, which ran October 15–26. It was a return to a familiar final table for Grupp: he had finished fourth in this Main Event in 2023.

Grupp comes back in the heads-up match

Joel Cattelane entered heads-up play with the chip lead, but Grupp recovered and won the title. Cattelane received $164,220 for second place. The WSOP described the win as Grupp's largest live tournament payday to date.

The result gives Grupp a Circuit ring at a property where he had already made a significant run. His fourth-place finish in the 2023 Main Event made this return especially notable, while his 54th-place cash in the 2025 WSOP Main Event shows that his recent tournament record extends beyond the regional Circuit.

A ring and a WSOP Paradise package

In addition to the $246,362 tournament payout, the WSOP said Grupp received a $5,000 package for WSOP Paradise 2026 under the Circuit promotion. The package is a separate benefit and should not be added to the published cash result.

The Main Event was one of 18 ring events at the Verona stop. Readers planning a future visit can review the site's Turning Stone poker-room guide; the event details and dates in this report refer specifically to the October 2026 festival.

What the result establishes

The verified record establishes Grupp as the October 2026 Turning Stone Main Event champion, with his first Circuit ring and a $246,362 first-place payout. The WSOP's published materials disagree about the total prize pool, so this report does not state a pool figure pending clarification.
