Updated October 26, 2026 at 8:24 AM CDT. Correction: An earlier version incorrectly said the final table represented nine countries. Its nine players represented five countries.
Lester Edoc won the 2026 TMT Championship Main Event at CTP Asia Poker Arena in Taipei on October 26. The official CTP results list Edoc first for NT$4,757,400 after he topped 1,418 entries.
Aditya Agarwal finished second for NT$4,162,400, while Sunho Yoo placed third for NT$3,643,200. The NT$35,000 Main Event generated a NT$42,880,320 prize pool.
The top three payouts changed
Before the final table, Somuchpoker’s on-site report listed NT$5,763,000 for first, NT$3,900,000 for second and NT$2,900,000 for third. CTP’s final page instead records NT$4,757,400 for Edoc, NT$4,162,400 for Agarwal and NT$3,643,200 for Yoo.
Both sets total NT$12,563,000. Somuchpoker’s October 26 final report says Edoc, Agarwal and Yoo agreed to a three-way ICM deal, settling their payouts before deciding the title.
According to the on-site report, the three players then went all-in before the flop on every hand. Edoc became champion after five hands. The payouts above use CTP’s actual posted results.
Edoc converts the chip lead
Edoc began the nine-player final table with 14,825,000 chips, narrowly ahead of Injae Jeong’s 14,025,000, according to Somuchpoker. He converted that lead into the title; CTP’s final results place Jeong sixth for NT$1,270,000.
The nine-player final table represented five countries: the Philippines, South Korea, India, Taiwan and the Netherlands. Yoo represented South Korea, Agarwal represented India and Edoc represented the Philippines.
A record field in Taipei
The official festival page lists the TMT Championship at CTP Asia Poker Arena from October 16–26. The 1,418-entry Main Event was the largest event on the festival schedule by field size and prize pool.
The festival combined an international final table with a Main Event prize pool of more than NT$42.8 million. Tournament payouts are gross returns; they do not show profit after buy-ins and expenses.
Another major Asian title for Edoc
Edoc’s previous major results include the 2018 APT Philippines Championships Main Event, where he earned PHP2,674,900 from a 325-entry field. He also won the 2020 Red Dragon Manila Super High Roller for PHP5,222,000.
The Asian Poker Tour’s current player record lists five APT titles and 29 cashes through October 2026.
