The World Series of Poker Circuit is heading back to Atlantic City this week, bringing 12 days of ring-event action and $1.5 million in guaranteed prize pools to Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City.
The 2026 WSOP Circuit Atlantic City stop runs from Thursday, August 13 through Monday, August 24. The schedule includes 18 numbered events, with buy-ins ranging from $300 to $2,200 and a $1,700 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event carrying a $600,000 guarantee.
For East Coast tournament players, the series provides another major live-poker festival only days after the conclusion of the summer World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
WSOP Circuit Atlantic City Returns to Harrah's Resort
Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City hosted the Circuit again in 2025 following a five-year absence, restoring a long-running connection between the WSOP Circuit and one of the country’s best-known poker destinations. The 2026 edition begins August 13 and features a larger overall guarantee than last year's return.
According to Caesars, tournaments across the stop will offer a combined $1.5 million in guaranteed prize pools. The schedule is built largely around No-Limit Hold’em, but Pot-Limit Omaha and Big O are also represented, along with events aimed at seniors, women and players age 40 and older.
The opening event begins at 10 a.m. on August 13 with a $400 No-Limit Hold’em tournament carrying a $50,000 guarantee.
Later that afternoon, the first of five starting flights begins for the $500 Mini Main Event. Its $300,000 guarantee makes it one of the largest tournaments on the schedule outside the Main Event. Flights continue through Saturday, August 15.
$600,000 Guaranteed Main Event Headlines the Schedule
The centerpiece of the festival is Event #10, the $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event.
Three starting flights are scheduled:
Flight A: Thursday, August 20 at 11 a.m.
Flight B: Friday, August 21 at 11 a.m.
Flight C: Saturday, August 22 at 11 a.m.
The Main Event carries a $600,000 guaranteed prize pool, an increase from the $500,000 guarantee offered when the Circuit returned to Atlantic City in 2025.
Last year's Main Event showed the potential for a substantial Atlantic City field. Bohdan Slyvinskyi defeated a field of 635 entries to win the 2025 Harrah’s Atlantic City Circuit Main Event, earning $177,562 and his first WSOP Circuit ring. Demetrius Campbell finished runner-up for $118,368.
With an additional $100,000 added to the advertised guarantee for 2026, the Main Event will again be one of the most important tournaments of the Atlantic City stop.
Mini Main and Monster Stack Offer Six-Figure Guarantees
Players who are not planning to enter the $1,700 Main Event still have several sizable tournaments available at lower price points.
The $500 Mini Main begins on opening day and comes with a $300,000 guarantee. Five starting flights are spread across August 13, 14 and 15.
Another major lower-buy-in option arrives August 17 with the $400 Monster Stack. Three flights are scheduled across August 17 and 18, with $150,000 guaranteed.
Other guaranteed events include:
$400 Opening Event — $50,000 guaranteed
$400 Turbo No-Limit Hold'em — $25,000 guaranteed
$400 Seniors Event — $75,000 guaranteed
$1,100 No-Limit Hold'em — $50,000 guaranteed
$400 Big O Limit — $25,000 guaranteed
$300 Ladies Event — $10,000 guaranteed
Several additional $400 No-Limit Hold'em events — $25,000 guaranteed
$400 Double Stack Closer — $50,000 guaranteed
The series also includes a $600 Pot-Limit Omaha event on August 20 and a $2,200 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller beginning August 23.
Circuit Ring Winners Earn More Than the Title
Each numbered event provides players with an opportunity to earn an official WSOP Circuit gold ring.
For the 2026 season, the WSOP has added another incentive. Circuit ring winners receive an exclusive $5,000 package for WSOP Paradise 2026, including tournament entry and hotel accommodations for the December festival at Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas.
That additional prize gives even the lower-buy-in Atlantic City events implications beyond the immediate payout. A victory can provide both a Circuit title and a path to another major WSOP festival later in the year.
Atlantic City Builds on a Strong 2025 Return
The 2025 Atlantic City stop marked the first WSOP Circuit festival at Harrah’s in five years. It featured 18 ring events and culminated with Slyvinskyi’s victory in the Main Event.
The 2026 schedule keeps the same 18-event format while increasing several guarantees.
Last year's Mini Main carried a $200,000 guarantee; this year's version is guaranteed at $300,000. The Monster Stack moves from $100,000 guaranteed in 2025 to $150,000 in 2026, while the Main Event rises from $500,000 to $600,000.
Those increases give players a clear indication that Harrah’s and the WSOP are preparing for another significant East Coast turnout.
What Players Should Know Before Heading to Atlantic City
The first tournament begins Thursday, August 13, and the series continues through the $400 Double Stack Closer on Monday, August 24.
Players interested in competing should check the official WSOP tournament page before traveling because tournament schedules and structures remain subject to change. WSOP has also adopted the WSOP+ platform across confirmed 2026 Circuit stops to handle features including tournament registration, payout information and live event data.
With events at several price points, multiple six-figure guarantees and a $600,000 Main Event, the Atlantic City stop gives regional players a substantial WSOP opportunity without making the trip to Las Vegas.
The first cards go in the air August 13 at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City.
