Ausmus and Oganyan were the final two players after Joe McKeehen exited in third place. Oganyan had entered the final day with the chip lead, but Ausmus claimed the title and the largest payout of the event.
On the final hand, Ausmus held queen-seven against Oganyan’s jack-five. The board ran eight-deuce-king-four-nine with four clubs, and Ausmus’s queen-high flush completed the tournament.
The victory took place at the PokerGO Studio, located at ARIA Resort & Casino. Players planning a separate visit can review the Angry Aces ARIA poker room guide for room details; that guide is not a tournament schedule for Poker Masters.

What the win adds to Ausmus’s record
Ausmus entered the event with an established tournament résumé that includes six World Series of Poker bracelets and a 2012 WSOP Main Event final table. Event 7 added another Poker Masters title and a $278,400 gross tournament cash to that record.
The result was an individual tournament victory. It did not by itself determine the overall Poker Masters Purple Jacket race, which is based on points accumulated across the series.
