Battle of Malta Announces First Barcelona Edition for January 2027
Battle of Malta has announced its first Barcelona edition at Casino Barcelona from January 20 through 24, 2027. The new stop takes the festival brand to Spain, with a €600 no-limit hold’em Main Event on the published schedule.
Casino Barcelona’s event page confirms the event name, host property and dates. Battle of Malta’s announcement describes Barcelona as the opening stop on an expanded 2027 calendar.
Five-day Barcelona festival
The schedule reported by PokerNews starts the €600 Main Event on January 20 and includes four starting flights through January 23. Day 2 is scheduled for January 23 and the final day for January 24. Side events include a €300 Super Mystery Bounty and a €300 Mini Battle.
Casino Barcelona currently says further details are coming. Players should confirm any schedule, registration or structure changes with the venue before making travel plans.
A wider 2027 calendar
The organizer also lists a May 21–June 2 flagship festival at Casino Malta, a June 14–21 Slovakia edition at Card Casino Bratislava, and a December 14–19 Estonia edition at Casino Olympic. Dates for its autumn Malta edition remain to be announced.
The Barcelona announcement establishes a new venue and country for the series. No result or prize pool has been reported for the future festival.
