Lex Veldhuis Joins GGPoker as Global Streaming Ambassador
Lex Veldhuis has joined GGPoker’s GGTeam as its Global Streaming Ambassador, the online poker operator announced November 3. The agreement gives one of poker’s most prominent Twitch streamers a formal role with the platform after his departure from PokerStars earlier this year.
GGPoker said Veldhuis will regularly stream his play on the site, highlight its Streamer Mode for content creators, and host tournaments and promotions for his community. The announcement did not provide dates or terms for those future events.
A new home for a long-running poker stream
Veldhuis has built a large audience by broadcasting online tournament sessions and explaining decisions as he plays. His move matters because it brings that established audience into GGPoker’s ambassador program and gives the company a dedicated figure for its streaming initiatives.
In the company’s announcement, Veldhuis said he had been playing on GGPoker during the past year and was enthusiastic about working with the platform on new projects. His existing Twitch channel remains the destination GGPoker named for viewers who want to watch his streams.
Partnership follows PokerStars exit
Veldhuis left his longtime PokerStars partnership in January 2026, PokerNews reported. GGPoker’s release identifies him as a member of GGTeam and specifies the Global Streaming Ambassador title. It has not announced a first stream or a calendar for the exclusive tournaments mentioned in the release.
