The victory came in the $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event at Horseshoe Casino Tunica in Mississippi. Matt Higgins topped a field of 367 entries that generated a $556,005 prize pool, defeating Daniel Garner heads-up for the championship.
Garner earned $74,824 as the runner-up, while Bradley Pollard finished third for $51,592.
