Tereza Vernerova leads the final eight of the 2026 Battle of Malta Autumn €600 Main Event at Casino Malta, with the title scheduled to be decided Wednesday, November 4. The tournament drew 5,368 entries and built a €2,413,281 prize pool, according to the organizer’s end-of-day report.

The organizer listed Vernerova with 68,750,000 chips at the close of Day 4, more than twice the 31,250,000 shown for second-place Ofer Tadmor. Those counts were labeled unofficial. Rosario Saddemi, Ivane Khazaradze, James Malatynski, Marco Lopez Coronado, Marios Kapiris and Lulei Hu complete the eight-player field.

Final table returns Wednesday

The eight players are due back at 2 p.m. local time in Malta on November 4, PokerNews reported. Play resumes with blinds of 200,000/400,000 and a 400,000 big blind ante. Each finalist has secured at least €21,150.

The published payout schedule sets €227,835 for first place and €141,250 for second. Those are scheduled awards, not final deal-adjusted payouts; a later agreement among players could change what the champion actually receives.

A large field reaches its last day

The 5,368-entry turnout has reduced to eight players after four days of Main Event play. Vernerova brings the largest stack into the finale, but the title and final payouts remain undecided. This initial report will be updated on the same page when the result is verified.

The Battle of Malta live blog and PokerNews final-day report provide the published counts, schedule and prize information.
